I have always rooted for Wilson to 1. not have off the field issues and 2. be successful with the Bears. From what I can tell he seems like he is not having drama off the field which is good. As far as on the field I do not think he has ever had a real shot. Hopefully we will see that shot this year and if all goes well he will surprise a lot of people.

He started half the season last year. There's a reason most people didn't notice him, he wasn't very good.

He played in the last seven games last year, after a large chunk of the team had given up on the coaching staff and showed no interest in fighting out a losing season.

Playing ≠ starting. And he played about 1/3 of the offensive snaps. Not saying he's great or even decent, but let's try to refrain from posting bullshit. ****...Josh Morgan saw more time on the field and ended the year with 10 catches for 70 yards...

Are you implying that it's ok for someone to quit on the team, especially when they're trying to earn a spot on the roster? Not to mention he already did this once before in college.

Not at all, I am implying that last year when things fell apart, they really fell apart, and he was a part of that. His production was not good at all. I just would not consider that a "Real shot" I think that this year is that chance for him and he will either make it or blow it.
Quitting on your team is not OK at any point, but last year we saw it happen, and not just from our backups it was our leaders that quit.

really its not like he earned those starts I was for injury to BM and AJ if he was ready to earn it we would have saw something last year. now he will probably lose his back up role to a ify player...........
