For him to have a 'monster' year, he would have to take Millers snaps as WR3 and even then you're talking about 500 yards at most I would think. AR and Mooney will get probably be around 2100 yards conservatively, then you have Graham, Kmet, Miller, Monty and Cohen. Assuming Dalton/Fields throw for 4,000 (maybe?) - that doesn't leave many yards for guys not named AR/Mooney.
Fuck it!

Fields throws for 8000 yards and the Bears have 8 thousand yard receivers.

As the 4th WR (that's of course if A.Miller will be starting slot with ARob and Mooney) that would be a great year for Goodwin.
I would be surprised if Anthony Miller makes this team. Allen Robinson, Darnell Mooney, Damiere Byrd, Marquis Goodwin, Dazz Newsome, and either Wims or Anthony Miller or Riley Ridley.

I think Byrd has more "success" than Goodwin....but to expect more than 400-600 from either is a bit unrealistic (barring any season ending injuries from arob/mooney)

The fact is the 3rd/4th wr is likely the 6th/7th option in the passing game.....and thats not a place to expect a ton of production
Everything you said is possibly true, but at this point no one knows. We don’t know how Dalton/Field will spread the ball around or who their favorite targets will be. That’s why the numbers I mentioned for Goodwin would be considered a “good year” depending on where he is on the depth chart. The 3rd Wr can easily be the 3rd option as well. There are too many unknowns at this point.

Bookmarked.

?

Arob manged 6 TDs last year lmao.
Yeah I don’t know why that’s so funny. All I posted was stats that would be considered a “good year” for Goodwin. Do you not agree? Would that not be a good year for him?

I think Miller makes it.

Robinson, Mooney, Byrd, Miller, Goodwin, Newsome

Ridley and Wims are out, IMO.

U mad bro?

You're the one who thinks a 30 year old WR on his 3rd team is going to break his personal best with TDs...on the Bears.

???
Why would I be mad? Explain this one to me, I’m curious.

You are dumb because you can’t comprehend my comment with what the thread is about.
???

Said it before-I think if he stays healthy he takes over WR3 and is a lot more productive than a lot of people think.

I also believe this to be true. The fight for that #3 spot will be really interesting when camp starts. Will Miller respond in a contract year.........others have.

Of the top of my head without looking at past stats or comparable league stats.

Robinson - 1100
Mooney - 750
Goodwin - 500
Graham - 300
Kmet - 500
Cohen - 300
Monty - 200
Rb3 - 150
Miller - 300
The field - 300
Less injured players named (400)

That gets me to 4,000ish which would be the best year ever by a Bears QB but very middle of the pack NFL wise.
There's also a 17th game to pad those numbers. The Bears QB record book is primed to be shattered.

Wims does play special teams. If he makes the team, that's why
That’s news to me.

I just read an SI article on the turnover on special teams. Bunch of quotes from Tabor. Wims wasn’t mentioned at all. He might have value if he was a gunner. That’s why we kept Bellamy so long.

About the only thing he does well is run block. Can’t believe he’s still on the team after last year.

I doubt he gets the targets to have a huge year.

But if he can go 25-30 for 300-350 and a few long TDs that would be such an asset for one of the slowest and less explosive offenses I have ever seen.
