Never, has there been a free-agency class like this. We're ending up with Bron or Bosh.

We've heard that before...and ended up with nothing.

You have next weeks lottery numbers too?

I'd love nothing more than to end up with Bron, Bosh, Wade, etc but I'm not going to sit here and get my hopes up about one of them coming to this team when this front office has shown a complete lack of ability to acquire and move talent around in the past few years. Hell, their best move was falling ass first into the #1 overall pick and Derrick Rose.

Oh hai!

You must have forgot what happened the last time there was a huge free agency class and the Bulls had money...........

Your statement makes no sense. I never said the Bulls wouldn't spend the money. The issue is who they will spend it on.

Are you referring to the summer where Duncan chose to stay in Santonio and TMAC wanted to go hoop with Mickey Mouse? How is that the Bulls fault?

And Grant Hill...................

Well how isn't it the Bulls fault?

The point is the Bulls couldn't lure those free agents here because they would rather be someplace else.

Is that so tough to understand? It's the Bulls front office's job to make sure they don't want to be someplace else and Chicago isn't ranked behind Mickey Mouse or The Alamo.

I see the chances of Lebron going to Miami as 0%. He said his team has a plan and he will follow that plan. Somehow I don't see that plan as sharing the ball with an all-star shooting guard.

Rose is a pass first guard and had to do more shooting because the Bulls shooters just flat out stink. If Rose has James, Rose will be dishing the rock like a man possessed.

Couldnt Agree more....lets hope thats the case.

I have to disagree. The Bulls did not have a good team that year. The only player that was a stud for us was Elton Brand and he shared the ROY award with Steve Francis. I remember one writer saying that the only thing the Bulls had to offer was the City and Deep Dish Pizzas lol. Now the Bulls have Rose, Noah, Deng, and Hinrich. Lebron knows his game would elevate everyone elses. Those free agents knew there was nothing in CHicago and no one liked Jerry Krause for dismantling the Dynasty prematurely. Not the same situation here fellas. Whole new ball game. I hope im right lol.

You don't have to....but it's your funeral...

Did I say they did?

K?

So how does ANY of what you just said "disagree" with my point that it was Chicago's fault that they couldn't sell themselves as a viable landing place for those free agents? Was it not the Bulls own fault they sucked?

Team A) Bad team

Team B) Good team

FAs are more likely to go with B if their desire is to win. Thats what makes this different than the summer of Duncan and McGrady.

The point is now the front office doesn't have to do much selling. They have the players to sell themselves (plus the media).

And both of these have what to do with my point that it was the Bulls own fault that they sucked and didn't pull FA's that summer?

Yes its their fault they sucked but that has absolutely nothing to do with this summer because THEY DONT SUCK! Its not rocket surgery. The past is the past and it has nothing to do with the current state of the Bulls. You have no point.

WHAT?!?!?!?

Please never post again.

Obviously the Bulls are in better shape than they were 10 years ago..I never disputed that/ But I've always watched this team for 20 years and can't really remember tham bringing in any big time FA's that ended up being worth a shit and frankly I have little to no faith in this front office to do so based upon their awful roster management over the last 5 years. I give them credit for making the moves needed to fee up the money for a max guy but I'm not going to blow my load and assume Lebron is coming here 4 days afetr his season ended.

You don't want to make any friends on these boards do ya? I'm starting to think your a Cavs fan.

Anyway, no it wasn't the Bulls fault they were so terrible that year. It was Jordan's fault, and Pippen's fault, and Jackson's fault. It was their fault for prematurely destroying an NBA Championship caliber team. Teams don't have to typically deal with losing the game's greatest player, game's greatest coach, and another Hall of fame player in the same season. That would destroy any team and leave them buried for years!!

Rocket surgery is a joke but i guess you dont get many jokes under your lonely cave.

They brought in Ben Wallace a few years back. Not exactly a great idea but he was a big named FA. This team overvalued some mediocre talent instead of trading for guys like Gasol but all of that doesnt matter. They obviously have big plans this summer, being that they traded Salmons to make cap room and didnt resign Gordon for a ridiculous 11 million. They have had two great and one good draft pick the past three years in Rose, Noah and Taj. They are doing a fine job with this team and i dont see the point of going into every thread with bitter posts of pessimism. Sorry if the Bulls hurt your feelings in the past or whatever your problem is with them but this isnt the same team of a decade ago and the thinking is different in the FO with this class of FAs.

So you weren't a fan of the Dennis Rodman acquisition? Interesting.

Swing and a miss.

Talk to Rush/Cut Fedex or Lefty.

So it was the Bulls players from two years prior fault the Bulls were awful and sucked....so it was still the BULLS fault because players from the BULLS caused it by no longer playing for the BULLS.
