Message/Request From The Mods

Alright guys, it's that time of year again...playoffs!

We've had a pretty successful year in the forum with alot of great and active posters!

We have kept the fighting to the minimum while not losing too much on quality of posts which is just great!

As a mod, and I'm sure the others agree with me, we have a few requests from the great Hawks fans here:

1. Keep active: Keep posting as much as possible to make our IGT's and other playoff threads look good to new members.

2. Stay civilized: I know that the playoffs will make our blood pressure high and we might lose our cool, but please try and keep it off the forum as much as possible! Let's show that we are a quality Hawks forum for new members!

3. Invite more Hawks fans: The more the merrier!

Remember guys, this is going to be a frustrating at times series where we are going to be in bad moods one minute, and the next happier than a hog in a cool puddle of mud. Lets all enjoy this since we are here.

Also, lets put some of the BS aside from the regular season until the games actually start up and players are playing. you never know who may step up, it is a new season. so keep the stalberg hate and john scott hate far away until after the playoffs.

not at all. go for it! that isnt what we are trying to say, trying to keep members from killing each other during a highly stressful series thats all.

if they lose go nuts as I will too, I am just going to keep the regular season dogs out of my rip fests because now the playoffs, its a whole new game and a whole new season. Trust me I think stalberg is a dog, but I want to see him step it up and if he has a crazy round or stretch I will be happy to be wrong to see this team do it again.

So how are the realists supposed to counter all of the unwarranted Stalberg love?

I'm all down for the unnecessary hate, but it seems like a lot of homer-attitude-don't-talk-bad-about-my-chicago-team occurs here. That is only one side of the story, most of the time. Most people ***** about ESPN being homers for certain east coast teams, but I see a TON of that at CCS for Chicago teams.

Also, i think he was being sarcastic, but you have to realize that this is a site for CHICAGO sports, so dont expect many VANCOUVER fans to come here

I just know that the stalberg lovers here will admit he has played bad. It is more of them just trying to joke around. I do hope he has a good playoff run. we need it!

My mild dislike for him aside, I do hope he has a GREAT playoff run and can use some of his energy to FINISH plays.

We will need him to play strong, no doubt!
