x2

Remember guys, this is going to be a frustrating at times series where we are going to be in bad moods one minute, and the next happier than a hog in a cool puddle of mud. Lets all enjoy this since we are here.

Also, lets put some of the BS aside from the regular season until the games actually start up and players are playing. you never know who may step up, it is a new season. so keep the stalberg hate and john scott hate far away until after the playoffs.

Heres to a good run boys!

Off topic, and hoping not to risk another derailing of this thread, but I really think Scott should have been in some games down the stretch. There were times when this team was dying for a spark that Scott could have provided. Could easily have scratched Pisani for him in some of 'em and, in all honesty, the hockey play, if compared, would have been equivalent.

Sorry, I needed to get that off my chest and the purpose of this thread can continue.

If Scott had ANY skills with his stick, I would agree. There are a few marginal "big" men who I would agree fit your argument. Pisani doesn't add much and a big body in front of the net would be great. Unfortunately, IMO, Scott has very little athletic ability nor any stick skills. I wish we had a different big man to plug in there and I would do it in a SECOND.

Granted, even though I think Scott has very little skills, maybe, just maybe, his big body is worth it. Not a bad idea.

Yup. That was essentially my point. At least Scott could provide SOMETHING (and something that can be turned into a positive) since Pisani wasn't providing shit.

I can't argue that. It's a true statement.

I doubt it will happen too, all because they think Brouwer can be "that" guy. I don't buy it.. sure, Brouwer was our checker this year, but I'm not very impressed with his net presence. Hell, Kopecky does a better job of screening the goalie and getting in their for those "Holmstrom-type" goals more then anyone else on the team.

Stop saying facts. Kopy is just terrible. Only good with Hossa.

I'm sure this is all just the running joke of the board, but seriously, as a new person, I can't have any respect for you when you post shit like this. Just baseless crap.

Stalberg is fast (like the speed), yes he did make a mistake... but I actually do like Stalberg lol. Not as much as I act like, but I really do.

Hahaha... alright, well I will finally lay off the Stalberg love then. As long as I know you can be realistic about it, then much love to Stalberg!
