Lets just draft a QB in the 2nd and first alternating each year for the next 5 years. We`re bound to hit on a stud eventually.

yep but historically the “decent QB” comes early. Yes, there are contrary to the norms but they are a diamond.

QB is not a need? We have 2 backups on the roster. Why not try to develop a guy on the sideline. But I'm sure Pace will go his usual route of taking some DB

Well here's the thing, ppl get caught up in Qb terms like "elite", "generational" etc. Ya go out do the job scouting and come up with a "gem" in the mid to later rounds. I can produce a long list of Qb's who weren't high rounders, yet succeeded.

yep, they are out there but you will produce a longer list of high draft picks.

I have no faith the Bears GM/Scouts will find the diamond.

I may be wrong but I believe we are expected to gain 2 or 3 comp picks as well. Most likely late picks in rds 6-7? But picks non the less
