Lets just draft a QB in the 2nd and first alternating each year for the next 5 years. We`re bound to hit on a stud eventually.
The Bears only have 5 picks and a lot of holes. If they are taking a QB worth a shit, it better be in the 1st or 2nd rd.
We just need a decent Qb we can develop
yep but historically the “decent QB” comes early. Yes, there are contrary to the norms but they are a diamond.
Well here's the thing, ppl get caught up in Qb terms like "elite", "generational" etc. Ya go out do the job scouting and come up with a "gem" in the mid to later rounds. I can produce a long list of Qb's who weren't high rounders, yet succeeded.
yep, they are out there but you will produce a longer list of high draft picks.
I have no faith the Bears GM/Scouts will find the diamond.
Then they need to go. We have to become more accountable and results oriented.

I agree but it’s been a 100 year problem.
It’s a culture problem.
I may be wrong but I believe we are expected to gain 2 or 3 comp picks as well. Most likely late picks in rds 6-7? But picks non the lessThe Bears only have 5 picks and a lot of holes. If they are taking a QB worth a shit, it better be in the 1st or 2nd rd.
