I mean there is simply no way to justify a 3 game suspension. Smith was not hurt, although Shaw is a pesky player he doesn't exactly have a history, there was no clear intent, AND Shaw was thrown out of the game. I mean its just pathetic, get Shannahan out, now.

At this point he's only hurting his team worse by creating this distraction and putting even more pressure on his goalie whether he's injured or not. He could have come out and just cleared everything up and refocused the entire situation back on game 3 and getting his team ready, but instead he's playing games and causing distractions. I don't think it's a smart move by a coach.
