Makes me giggle a bit that the puck was just out of reach of Suter. :troll:

Yeah, perfect for the regular season...bad for the playoffs though. Can you imagine losing game 7 of the finals in a skills competition?

oh yea it would really suck. how about 4 on 4 in OT in the playoffs?

As a fan of both teams...I can see the Wild laying down after this. I don't think Yeo is a good enough coach at this point to rally the troops to play hard throughout the series. And the Hawks are just way too tough...they are a matchup nightmare for teams like the Wild.

Honestly though, how good have Bickell and Stalberg been together this year? I really hope that they both re-sign next season. I think Bicks will for sure, hoping Stals sticks around for the right money.

Everybody is missing something. That was one SPECTACULAR pass by the OD-man. Im not sure Ive ever seen someone pass over a defender in hockey. Watch the replay, he saw Stalberg up ice and played it high off the boards to him. GREAT pass.

Stalberg showed up.

Bickell turned into a monster after the first, great game.

All in all you cant complain outside of that garbage first period. Why the Hawks played the body and not their game is beyond me considering once the puck dropped in the second it was like "hey, that's the team that won the Prez" moment.

Not taking the Wild as legit yet.

Good play all around. Good hit by Shaw to knock the puck loose, good pass by Oduya, and like I said, nice patience and a great pass by Stals.

Actually it all started with the great hit by Shaw. It was just a good transition game all around and that's when the Hawks are at their best

Could have been a 7 game series if Blackhawks lose this in pretty much four periods. Should be a five game series now

IMO...it would be a 5 game series even with a Wild win tonight. There were too many changes for the Wild this offseason with a young coaching staff.

Beat me to it

Your comment was just as accurate though.

Oh, and where is all the Crawford love at guys? He played really well from what I saw, outside of what the replay shows to be a bit of a soft goal in the first.

Hopefully this is a HUGE boost for his confidence
