I finally started a franchise I'm excited about. I picked the Cardinals (obviously), but cut every single player over 25 years of age. So I'm using only their top prospects and really relying on developing players. So far I'm 4-1. Swept the D-backs, and lost the first game of the series to the Giants. Errors cost me that game or I would be undefeated.

After 10 games of my Cubs franchise sitting at 5-5. Should be 7-3, but my dumb team that I control cannot seem to run bases or field to well..Tried trading Marmol, but ended up trading Garza to the Mariners for 3 prospects. Just called up Baez and Vitters. So hopefully can get some production from the bottom of the lineup...Pitching is hit and miss, Jackson and Wood get rocked. Smarjzadia and Baker are decent, and the 5th guy I got from the Garza trade isnt all the bad. Bullpen is shaky and Marmol and Fukjuawa have been benched in favor of Brian Wilson. Going into the next game lineup looks like this

After 15 games sitting at 8-7. Then I started noticing a trend, every game around the 4th and 5th inning. I give up the majority of my runs and that is when my errors occur. I'm last in the league in era, and errors. But lead the league in hitting, going to drop the diffuculty down in fielding accuracy and pitching to get a better feel for it.
I swear if I see Castro out of postion again, im going to lose my damn mind.

I cannot stand Castro, once again that moron cost me another game, with his tyrpical 2 error game. What kills me is they arent even throwing errors he drops the ball, hell it was on auto..Then Baez joins the party and commits two errors. So in the top of the 8th with a 2 run lead, gone thanks Castro as we lose 4-2. Now sitting at 8-8, I can honeslty attribute at least 3 of those losses on Castro and his fielding. He has no committed 13 errors in 16 games. Time to trade his ass, would rather roll with Baez or move Lake over to SS.

Called up Almora, Vogelbach and this C guy with 70+ power that is only 20 I got in a trade with the Mariners. Almora blasted one off the wall for a double in his first AB. Vogelbach scored 2 runs and went 2-4, with two deep fly balls that I just barely missed. The other kid went 3-4 all singels. Won 5-0 against the Brewcrew to go to 10-8.
Just have to figure out what to do now. Jackson is top 5 in average. Soriano leads the majors in HR, and RBI. And Soler has 5 hr, 20 RBI's. But I would like to play Almora more and get this other kid some more AB's. Not sure who goes. Thought I had a trade done with the Pirates for their top 2 pitching prospects for Marmol, but guess it fell through.
Game is fun as hell and addicting.

Has anyone got far enough to see if their guys progress as far as in training? Jackson leasds the league in batting average but his contact stats are the same, and I have him working on contact

Getting a nice win streak going up to 7 games. The first game to start the streak won in extra innings with a 3 run homer by Soriano, and just this last game against the Marlins scored on a wild pitch in the 9th. Took the game 3-2. Been looking to make a few trades to get some pitching talent in the pipe line. With the draft coming up and the 2nd pick, still not sure which way to go.

Got a game in today for the first time in a week. Won 3-1 over the Padres. Soriano went deep twice to give him 13 homers in the first month..
