I saw someone post on OS that it'll probably be more fun to play the Cubs AA games instead of the MLB games. Unless you put Soler, Baez and Almora on the major league club immediately.

Even as the Cardinals, I can't resist trading for young "A" potential guys. I was in first place at the all-star break and the A's wanted David Freese for Addison Russell. Pulled the trigger. Russell is now my starting SS in '14. 72 overall, but that'll jump pretty quickly. Then traded Matt Holliday in the offseason to the Nats for Anthony Rendon, and let Beltran walk in free agency. Moved Allen Craig to LF since Matt Adams needs to play 1B, and Oscar Taveras took over for Beltran. Let Carpenter and Westbrook walk in free agency too, so I plugged Shelby Miller and Michael Wacha into the rotation. "A" potential guys galore.

In 2014 my lineup is (potential in parenthesis)
C-Yadier Molina (A)
1B- Matt Adams (B)
2B- Kolten Wong (B)
SS- Addison Russell (A)
3B- Anthony Rendon (A)
LF- Allen Craig (A)
CF- Jon Jay (B)
RF- Oscar Taveras (A)

#1- Adam Wainwright (A)
#2- Lance Lynn (B)
#3- Jaime Garcia (A)
#4- Michael Wacha (A)
#5- Shelby Miller (A)

Already did a season?

Simmed the first one. I prefer to sim one season so old players with high ratings can have their ratings go down and they get replaced. Guys like Chris Carpenter with a 90 rating at the start of the season had a 75 at the end. There are a lot of guys that have 90's and will drop to the 70's and retire. Kind of gives the game a clean slate by doing that.
