I havent paid for a car repair since 1989.

We get new vehicles every 3 years

Don't have to sell anything or dispose of a car

I ALWAYS get any milage overages forgiven

I often get the next dealer to eat 1-3 final [payments to get me into a new lease

The new lease laws: ON January 1st, Illinois law changed so that sales tax applies only to what the customer down payment and the monthly lease payment. BONANZA FOR OMELET

My credit rating if off the charts so I always get best rates

always has a car payment.
pays thousands down payment for a car he has to give back...
gets suckered into low payments but pays fat down-payment
can only drive 36000 miles or he turns into a pumpkin
any ding or scratch he pays for AND then gives the car back.

No private flights for me since I left Wall Street about 15+ years ago, back then I did fly private jets and helicopters all the time but never once with my own cash.

When I travel with the family now I use credit card points or airline miles to sit us up front, but I am not in any position to rationalize spending $100k+ to fly, it seems obscene to me.

As for the Elgin pauper, I won’t give it the attention it craves.
