Name a SG besides Bryant and Wade that is better than Johnson. The only reason why he got paid, same thing with Marbury, and Arenas, is that there are relatively few guards with a lot of talent.

How'd he do recently against the Spurs? Against the Lakers?

Why don't we ever hear about Bosh when he does something right and confirms he's an All-Star?

Why do we only hear when he has an off night? We could do that for any player in the 'lig, even your beloved Derrick Rose.

No he went 1-18 against the best team in the Association. This is a Bulls forum, if you're expecting any love for the Heat, take your talents to South Beach. :hitler:

LeBron, Kobe, or anyone else will never be Michael Jordan. I wasn't saying LeBron is better or equal to MJ.

I was saying that even Michael Jordan, the greatest of all time was being smacked around, owned, dominated and mocked by teams such as the Pistons and yet they still won a few titles.

I don't think LeBron will get 6 but I do think he'll get half that many.

The point of that post was, we shouldn't necessarily write the Heat off after 65 games of their first season together. If they stay together, they'll be successful.

DO NOT compare Lebron James to Michael Jordan EVER. I like what Jeff Van Gundy has to say (for once) on comparing people, that if you compare 2 people, both are devalued. Both are good in their own respects. You can't begin to compare the two until the Heat win at least 1 championship.

Finally, someone who read something I wrote without freaking out, misunderstanding or twisting what I wrote.

Sir, I'd like to shake your hand. We'll even buy you dinner if you want, sometime.

He should be left alone as far as this thread is concerned. He's not one of the most overpaid players. If you want to criticize him in general that's fine, but the "leave him alone" line was in reference to the overpaid player discussion.

Bosh got the same contract as James. They're getting paid the same.

He's getting paid more than Wade and James. That =overpaid. No matter what Bosh does, it won't be enough.
Joe Johnson and everyone else should be left alone according to his logic, because the teams made the choice to pay these players. The players were smart and took the money.

Though the career earnings won't add up to 200 million, Jerome James was WAAAAAAAAY overpaid for his contributions.

I remember him playing 1 or 2 good games in the playoffs (not even all that great...like 13 and 6 - something like that)...he walked off the court with a garbage bag on his shoulder, then next thing you know, he's signing a 19-year contract and made 8 million a year sitting on the Knicks bench.

What an easy gig that was for him.

Guess you aren't an eagle scout.

It's ok. I've gotten all kinds of things off myself.

Though I think Bosh is much better than the media portrays him, I don't think Bosh should be getting paid as much as LeBron and more than Wade. I think Wade should have gotten more than James or Bosh.

In fact, if you all ran the Heat, whats the most you would offer Bosh?

I would go with 6 years 90 million.

You are correct sir. I thought I read on ESPN that Bosh was paid the most. Sources: LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh sign with Miami Heat for $15M less each - ESPN

  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks

No, actually I think I would give Bosh 6 years, 91 million actually. But not a dime over.
So would you give 6yr. 91M and 9 cents. :rimshot:

Would you agree that though Joe Johnson may not have lived up to his contracts? that he was the best player at SG truly available in the summer of 2010?

What I'm saying is that the Hawks made their decision to build around him may have been incorrect, and the decsion to pay the best "available," not necessarily the best is not good either.

per hoopshype, lebron and wade make about 500k more per year, which is weird cuz wade won't get another contract while lebron and bosh might. you'd think that they'd let him have more.
