And you're complaining when bikes split lanes?...which I was once ticketed for on the Eisenhower.

Unless hands-free, no cell phones means NO cell phones in Illinois. And it isn't being enforced b/c it isn't a moving violation.

Yet they are inherently more dangerous than a drunk driver.

Ditto in Oregon. IMHO it should be a moving violation.

While not a 'motorcycle' - the law says it's on in most states - I spent the weekend before last thrashing my buddy's new Polaris Slingshot about.

It's a 'motorcycle' in most places (M class license, helmet), but an 'auto cycle' in Illinois.

Great fun for $20K, but ultimately decided against as it's the first year of production and they are having a shit ton of quality issues. Not to mention that when the novelty wears off - say September - probably can pick one up off of someone who doesn't want to winter store it for like $5K less.
