Cocaine, lots and lots of cocaine. Snort it, shoot it, smoke it, drink it, doesn't matter, just stay high 24/7 and you'll be fine.

Sucks to hear. You're not lucky in the sense of having back issues, but lucky in the sense that if you had these issues start showing up a decade earlier, treatment options would be very different, even high risk of paralysis (or damn close to it) still within many surgeries. I hope you have good doctors that can point you to new treatment options, because the times are so much better.

You're right. I put off having my hip replaced for 9-10 years. because the replacement only lasted about 10 years. The one I have should last the rest of my life.

I heard if your wife let's you put it in her butt all pain will go away.

But seriously, what Xuder said earlier. Will be difficult with your line of work. CBD oil can help.

Early last year my back finally gave out. After years of going to the chiropractor, and not knowing my bone density was way down, I finally got x-rayed and an MRI. I was told My Osteoporosis was so bad that I had the bone density of a 95 year old women and my vertebra collapsed. Every vertebrae is fractured. There were weeks at a time last year where I couldn't even lay down without screaming in pain. Slept of the couch sitting up for weeks. Ungodly pain.
Had three Kyphoplastys done (separating the vertebrae with a balloon) and filling it in with cement. That didn't help and I have new pain shooting down my hip if I stand or walk for more than 5 minutes or so. That's on top of the constant back pain. I've been too 10 doctors and had every test in the book done and none can figure it out. I even went as far as getting an online second opinion from Cleveland Clinic. Still no solution, but I'm now injecting Forteo daily in my stomach. It sucks, and it won't even fix the damage or relieve pain. Basically, I'm screwed for life.
Anyways, I tried every pain killer including Norco and none help enough to justify the side effects. Plus I don't want to get dependent on them. I wish I had an answer for you man.

Good god man. I really hope something pans out for you. I know people dealing with medical issues but holy shit you might just take the cake.

This thread should be required reading. I'm 36 and I know back issues are coming. I've had spasms once and I begged my wife to call 911. I have no idea what's about to hit me.

Bear down, fellas.

I'm 38 and can't do deadlifts anymore if I want to have a normal day. If I even do lower back workouts I can't do cardio that day. Lesson to the young you might be superman in your 20s but when you hit that wall in your 30s adjust right to it or deal with pain rest of your life

I'm a fat man so I have been permanently dead lifting weight for a long time. I finally decided its time to not be fat since I am 32 and I can't rely on my body keeping up with me much longer. Dropped 31 pounds in less than 5 weeks. I am committed till I reach a safe weight. I already have the knees of an old person because of being fat for so long and my lower back is starting to feel it a few days a week.

dr told me fact is my shits broke itll never be fixed and yes all this does is make it manageable so I can still do my job and function

Surgery not an option? I have spinal stenosis and degenerative disk disease and had C2,C3,C4,C5, and C6 fused. Helped quite a bit. Surgery sucked though. Well actually the recovery sucked. Don't remember the surgery cause I was out and then on morphine pump the next 2 days. After that sucked.

Congrats xer0. Must be laying off the primo tequila.

Man, I have had one shot of tequila in those 5 weeks. No whiskey, no beer, no cider. Its brutal. I never used to give a shit about what I ate or drank on a daily basis. Now I find myself counting calories to make sure I keep a low intake and end up losing weight in the end. I exercise mornings before work and after I get home from work. In fact 5 days a week I feel like I have no life because my spare time is exercise and preparing what I need for tomorrow. But I have no one to blame for that but myself for allowing it to get to this point. So its my burden to bear until I get back down to a good weight.

I have a bottle of Jack Daniels Sinatra Century waiting for me when I hit my goal weight. I am going to enjoy every bit of it when it happens. If all goes well I should be at my target weight by winter.
