OP is right. Aaron Donald’s game was barely mentioned. Props to Hiestand.

Sure he had some help double teaming him, but held his own. Another future pro bowl lineman for the bears.

Jordan Howard had a nice game as well.

I think we split the ball four ways and give 1/4 for each defensive INT. Heck, the whole defense really deserves a game ball. Daniels did well for sure. The whole offensive line did well. We ran the ball well and yes, Mitch was wild but I think that was more of an aberration from being rusty.

What really impressed me was that we gave the ball to the Rams twice inside our 40 and the best scoring offense in the NFC could only manage 3 points off of it. Goff looked uncomfortable the whole night. I thought it was Tony Eason for a while there.

It really was a true full team effort. But I agree with giving the nod to Daniels.

NAGY really needs to present the D the Game Ball....although that formation and fake to Hicks and toss to Sowell was special

if I recall correctly multiple posters throughout the week were shitting their pants with the Donald matchup. the Bears pulled it off. players double and triple team Mack too, it's all part of the strategy. if you can use multiple OL to chip a guy and hold the rest, you're doing well.

It doesn't matter if you have an All Pro offensive lineman against him you still have to double team that guy. One on one you might win 90% of the battles but that 1 out of 10 could be a disaster. Daniels did a great job tonight, against what looks to be a future HOF player.

I will state the obvious.

When several fans can each point to a different player, and a case can be made for each, that is a good thing. A very good thing.

There has been a lot of double teaming on Donald all season long yet he had 16.5 sacks coming into the game ... and he ended the game at that same 16.5 sacks.
