After hearing Wilson possibly being on the block I've updated my list and yes this needed its own thread.

1) Deshaun Watson
2) Russell Wilson
3) Derek Carr
4) Aaron Rodgers
5) Pace and Nagy being fired for missing on great QBs

Metcalf and Lockett are a top 5 receiving duo in the league and they ran for almost 5 ypc this season.
It just goes to show how impressive Wilson is that he can trick people into thinking DK Metcalf and Lockett form one of the five best receiver duos in the NFL. And you don't think that yards per carry average has something to do with the fact that Russell Wilson cracked off more than six yards a carry? What a spectacular self own this was.

Seahawks D was #1 in points allowed 4 times including the Superbowl year. Only above #15 once In Wilsons career but mostly top 10. Malcom Smith was the Superbowl MVP when they won.
Yes, the Seahawks defense was incredible when they were in the heat of their glory run but ever since has been pretty mediocre. You will notice I specifically mentioned the disintegration of the Legion of Boom.

Russell Wilson has never finished with anywhere near four wins. The guy is a machine at winning football games despite the fact that his offensive weapons are all rancid and he has played behind a patchwork abomination of an offensive line for the last seven seasons. Seahawks defense is pretty awful these days too.

He also played for Pete Carroll who is infinitely better than BOB. Furthermore, his D has never been as bad as the 2020 Texans. In fact, every year that Watson's D has given up 24 points or less, he reached the playoffs. The 2020 Seahawks gave up 23.2 points. So really not much difference there except the fact the Texans gave up 29 points on D this year which is why they sucked.

You clearly haven't researched anything.

Can easily tell you're flustered when you start with self-own language, like when you thought being a Muslim would make Robert Saleh a minority hire.

You have probably never even watched a Seahawks game.

Metcalf is a stud, Carson is a meh back who ran for 4.8ypc.

Not bad qb trade power rankings list. I’m pretty sure number five is the most realistic scenario

Saleh, who will turn 42 this month, becomes the NFL’s fourth minority head coach.
Me and the Washington Post, I guess. And you continue to undermine your own argument when you pose Chris Carson's yards per carry, which is lower than the Seahawks' team yards per carry, as a reason for Wilson's success.

You guys make almost as many excuses for Wilson being good as you do Deshaun Watson being bad.

The team was 4.8. Carson's also 4.8. They ran the ball fine despite their shit line.

Let me know when the 49ers get those comp picks for their Muslim coach going to the Jets.

Holy fuck dude. Arab American is not the same as Muslim. Dennehy said they would not be getting the picks for his being Muslim. They would get the picks for his being Arab American. Muslim is a faith not a race.

Imagine being so desperate for a win in this thread that you're going to lawyer the definition of the word minority. All because the Cult of Watson got questioned just a little bit.

Seahawks finished twenty-second in points allowed this year. You're just making things up.

2019 Texans gave up 24.1 points and made the playoffs.
2020 Seahawks gave up 23.2 and made the playoffs.

Seahawks finished 15 in points allowed not 22nd.

Imagine lying that the Seahawks finished 22nd in points when the finished 15th. Imagine praising Wilson for leading a team to the playoffs that gave up less points than the team Watson led to the playoffs last year as means to say Wilson is better.

That's not what's happening though.

Now why would you want Nagy fired? He took 2 of the worst quarterbacks in NFL history and won 8 games

Bwahahahahaha

He is seriously hyping Wilson leading the 15th ranked scoring D to the playoffs and essentially saying that is better than Watson leading the 19th ranked D to the playoffs last year. SMH!

Nineteenth in 2019 and thirteenth the year before that. I guess I didn't realize "almost" meant "not in the last three seasons". At least according to NFL Football Stats - NFL Team Opponent Points per Game on TeamRankings.com

But the point is Watson has done the same thing. Wilson has never led a team that gave up 29 points to the playoffs. Both he and Watson have made the playoffs anytime their teams give up around 24 points or less. So your entire premise that Wilson is better based on this metric is in fact wrong.

So we are left with 2 guys with similar stats and similar ability to lead teams whose Ds give up around 24 points or less to the playoffs. The main difference then is Watson is 7 years younger.
