Preseason is a bad time to question play calling if we haven't already seen our play caller call bad plays for the last couple of years.
Preseason is always a bad time for that strong of a take. That went well beyond questioning and written out of a lack of understanding or simply as clickbait.

I got the same thing. Maybe if I party till after midnight I might sleep till 6 or 630.
Man I wish. We were out late last night after drinking all day at the game and I still was up at 4:45 this morning. I think someone wants me to enjoy the hangover.

You mean let him be head coach and call plays if that's what he wants to do?
yes. If you start ripping away duties for him you are basically signaling that it is over.

You don't want anyone working in that kind of environment. It is not conducive to success.

You can't go to your head coach and tell him we don't trust you and we are going to micromanage you and expect top results.

You let him be head coach the way he sees fit or you get a new head coach.

I'll take the new head coach route please. My top guy last year is still my top guy in Brian Daboll who once again showed he knows how to call plays that work for his QB's best abilities.

The worst time to question play calling is the preseason. it's been a real thorn but I won't judge him on it at this time of year. Lambert finally says something and his timing is pure shit.
I usually wouldn’t but fact is the offense looked like in season form with naggy calling plays. Things don’t change with this guy he’s stubborn af.

I hesitate even writing this but preseason is the perfect time to judge playcalling.

I mean you get your new shiny draft pick qb who can make all of the NFL throws. You send him out there and have him throw receiver screen passes......

And you get a veteran free agent qb and the only down field pass he has thrown in your offense scores a touchdown but you don't consistently try to see if he can repeat it.....

At least Saleh is actually letting his shiny new qb rip it all over the place.

Can't disagree but you don't know what they were doing here. Certainly not game planning. Obviously not accomplishing successful plays is always a concern but like I said, you don't threaten a HC future by preseason results.

On my 2nd cup but once again woke up to 41 negs from @Anytime23. Glad i don't care about negs but love my coffee.
It is clear that you don't care about negs. I mean you care so little that you barely took the time to count them and bitch about them.

If the Bears look like that in the regular season, then by all means fire Nagy and Pace.

"I don't care about negs"- The guy who had an all time meltdown last night over negs.

You are so lucky the mods nuked that thread because it was a terrible look for you. Again, you can dish it but cant take it. You were so mad you tried to fight another poster IRL hahahahahahah1629663761508.png

At the very least i'd like to see Pace step in and take play calling doodies away from him if it looks as bad as it has so far in these first halves. Not that we'd ever know if Pace did step in and do that but we need a real play caller in here. I'm good with staying cool and understanding it's the preseason and we've only had two actual starters on the o-line actually playing with Whitehair and Mustipher, and that's if Mustipher even ends up starting material, but we need to see a lot better than what we've seen and i don't put much of it on Dalton as much as i do the coaching right now.
Scale of 1-10 how high rn?

I missed most of the game yesterday so when i caught up on the IGT, i noticed Scambert mass disliking multiple posters. So when i was all caught up i disliked him into orbit (over 100 negs). He ended up having a drunken meltdown, threatening to fight people i think he said something about having to talk to his fat girlfriend about it. It was hilarious. It was the one day he didnt dislike me a bunch of times and it sent him into a complete all time meltdown. he was like "I didnt even dislike anytime today and he disliked me 100 times waaaaahhhh"
