You threw me off when answering Quick Change with "Underrated Bill Murray movie". I thought that was a hint.

Star Wars A New Hope

Actually it was to use the weapon designs to destroy the weapon. Great job though.

Next flick:

Heist goes wrong in this colorful movie.

Yes, it's New Hope! Good job! But my description is correct as is. Ben recruited Luke to recover governmental weapons designs, ie recover the designs of the Death Star. That's 90% of the film. The last 10% they attack the Death Star.

"Heist goes wrong in this colorful movie."

I'm gonna guess Wizard of Oz. But I guess the heist goes right eventually, after a lot of trouble.

Nope, not Wizard of Oz. I stand corrected on the New Hope plot.

Hint:

Writer director also had a small roll n the movie. There was a great scene in a men's room. Also unlike Oz this movie is not "G" rated, far from it.

Wizard of Oz is not G rated BTW. It is unrated then retroactively rated PG during a wide-scale re-screening in 1998.

A man accidentally kills someone who has been sending him death threats but this is hardly the focus of the story.

A Bridge Too Far

I like that movie, it cost more and took longer to make so the director Richard Attenborough took a lot of crap, and it was called A Movie Too Far. I don't care how much it cost, or how long it took, I just liked it.

It also showed what an asshole Montgomery was.

Okay, next movie.

An artist is bitterly jealous of a younger and much more talented artist.

If nobody gets this I'll post a hint before bedtime.
