I have no problems agreeing with you guys.

But... it's been 8 hours since I made my pick. XcrackZ was on last night and he knew there was 2 more picks until he made his.. and since the 24 hour rule was still in place, he probably thought he can come on later to make his pick.

So if we just skip him right now without him knowing about this, it would be a little unfair.

u guys know what I mean?

Yeah, definitely understand. I mean...what if we skipped him now and then he comes on in an hour and is like wtf guys? There is the 24 hour rule in place now and I guess it's fair to say that we can shorten that limit if everyone is for it. Alternatively we can just say pm BNB your picks when it's within 2 picks of yours or something.

Anyone can PM me there picks if they pick before me and the ones that pick after me [after I make my pick]

So far a few people have done it and it has worked out just fine.

It's good but not auto pick. Skip and then when he gets on, he can pick. It's way better and it's hard to pick now people on auto pick.

personally, I hate the idea of an auto-pick. I'd rather be skipped and make that pick later than have an auto-pick. But that's me.

If he wants a player I picked, I'll happily give it to him. :smug:

I don't like the idea of autopick this late. It's just a game. :smug:

My experience with autopicks hasn't been that great, but I guess it depends on how we auto pick. BPA at one of the positions he doesn't have? That seems to be the logical train of thought for most people right now.

ok, let's have a vote.

Autopick rules.. like the ones that are listed

or skip rules... we'll then discuss how much time the person has.

first to 7 votes. [7/12]

before I vote im just trying to look at the downsides of both.

with autopick, the downside is that we give the person a player he doesn't want.

Downside of skipping is that there could be 5-10 picks made by the time you sign on.. and by that time, you would have just wished you were autopicked one of those guys. .. but that depends on how long you're not online

for the people who are regularly here, you don't need to worry about either option, obviously.

The thing with autopick is that you can always just trade the player if you really don't want him. If you skip, that option isn't available and then you have a far less talented pool to pick from if you're gone for awhile. To me, that's a bit harsh for my taste. I won't cry either way, but this is just an informal game after all. Just my take...

neither will effect me because I don't think I'll be missing any picks.

most of you guys have been pretty good with coming on too. it's jst that every once in a while there's one person that doesn't come on for half a day.. and that's what slows it down.

Lol I was on all last night hoping it would slide to me, and the draft didn't move at all yesterday and I knew there were a few picks ahead of me.. I'm in Missouri and had family day today for my Uncle serving in the Army and tomorrow is his graduation. I understand waiting gets annoying, but if everyone is down to skip then pick a round where we will start skipping BPA for a certain time limit.. that is my opinion to keep it fair since I was on all last night waiting to select. I will select in a second. :buttrock:
