Blake's elbow dunk was the 2nd best Dunk of the night....right behind DeRozan's one handed windmill off a bounce pass to himself.

Charles Barkley w/ the best line of the night: "That dunk was like havin' a pretty girl...if she's dumb, it don't matter."

hahahahahahahahahaha

Blake wins in a bull-shit dunk contest.

Meh, that's the NBA...just a dunk contest I guess.

Griffin had the worst collection of dunks...that's the frustrating thing.

Blakes last dunk wasn't that good at all, but I do like the idea of using a car. Here's how I would change it.

Jump from behind a convertible, dunk the ball and land in the passenger seat. Bonus points if you catch the ball after it goes through the net.

Now that would be impressive.

I'm not a fan of props. I mean, at ALL. If kids can't try the dunks at a playground, then it's a BS dunk.

Im sick of these props! UGH!! Its getting too flashy. The choir, the coaches, etc..sucked...
I understand its hard coming up with new dunks since a lot are used but damn man. too many props.. the best dunk contests were in late 80s early 90s....and the vince carter, tracy mcgrady, and steve francis contest...

Still to this day the dumbest one i seen was when corey maggette did a flip then ran and did a basic ass dunk...blah!!

same reaction here and from the other threads I went. Too much props and gimmicks for this year's slamdunk contest. I like McGee's dunk more than Blake's. The only one I liked was his 360 dunk which could have been more awesome if he didn't miss twice lol.

IMO McGee had some of the most impressive dunks. It might just be me, since apparently you guys like DeRozan (who had a really good 2nd dunk and imo was cheated out of the finals). Dunking 3 balls is no easy task, and dunking on two different baskets to me was really creative. His version of MJ's dunk was pretty good too. Griffin was just absolute garbage. I don't even think he deserved to get as high a score as he did in the first round. Jumping over a car? I admit that's pretty cool and all, but seriously? And the choir? What the heck was that? His 360 in the beginning was probably his best dunk of the night to me. As for Ibaka...if he had gotten that 2nd dunk in on the first try he would've gotten a 50 to me just out of sheer silliness with the kid and all.

the thing that's difficult about jumping over the car is that griffin had to bend his knees to get over it...you can't jump nearly as high like that so it's not exactly an easy dunk...plus baron davis is an idiot and messed up the toss, it should have gone more towards the middle of the car rather than the hood

Disagree w/ the bolded part. I saw a college kid do a 360 in a game two nights ago.

His best dunk by far was the lob off the glass, hanging on the rim from his elbow. It was silly when Carter did it...and Carter didn't do it off a lob.

However, other than that dunk, the rest of his dunks should've scored 40-45 at best...

That was a lame finish. Serge and Derozen should've been in the final. Griffin had a golden ticket to the final round which is unfair.

It's really an opinion when it comes to what his best dunk was. To me the 360 was the best because of how fast he spun. His first attempt at it had a windmill in it too, so if he had completed that, to me that would have been a 50. The combined speed and sheer power of the dunk is what impressed me.
