How can you realistically look at this team, as it stands right now and see anything positive lol? Pagano is the fall guy, yeah he wasn't good but I don't trust they're going to hire anyone better especially after hearing that smoke fest press conference.

I guess the most exciting thing will be to see a new QB and how they develop in Nagy's system. Not saying much though.

A team can easily go +- 2 wins in an offseason. If healthy, it could be a 9-7 or 10-6 team next year. Or it could be the other way.

I get everybody is pissed. So am I. I personally cannot believe they justified keeping Nagy.

But we aren't the Jets. We aren't a 2 win team. We have a shot just like any other middle of the road team to have a good draft, get lucky at QB, and compete next season.

The problem isn't the players is what I mean.

During Pace's tenure with the Bears, there are ALWAYS glaring holes that he is unable/unwilling/incapable of correcting.

And his coaching staff is unable/unwilling/incapable of making up for them.

Why would that change in 2021?

So yeah, go bears.

To me the biggest positive is the Bears going back to the well on drafting a QB.

Not happy at all with who is doing the picking but even a bad GM/HC can get lucky the way the nfl draft works.

If they somehow do finally get lucky at that position it'll more than make up for how pissed we all are right now.

I found a positive. Nick Foles former coaches include Jeff Fisher, Doug Marrone, Doug Pederson, and Chip Kelly. Granted he did play for Andy Reid for 3 games but the GM was fired. I think Nick may be the MVP after-all, just a matter of time.

I honestly don't know if I'm capable of watching another Matt Nagy coached game. So for a positive, I can watch whatever game looks the most interesting or go accomplish something productive and not feel obligated to watch this shitshow.
