This is what I wanted with the number one pick: turn that one pick into 5-6 starters for us. Well on the way.

Gee, 2021 when he played LT it was in an new system, and the article even says he ended that season with 6 straight games with 0 sacks allowed. Almost like he settled into a new offensive scheme or something

And he’s fine as a run blocker. Tennessee was one of the better running teams in the SEC last year and you generally tend to run a lot behind your RT

With Broderick Jones, the Bears move him to LT and fill RT with Tevin.

Wright sucked in 2021 playing LT, so he is not an option. Do you really want to move Tevin to LT?

What does any team do if their LT gets hurt? I would rather have Wright at LT next season than Broderick Jones. Jones is not NFL ready. Wright is.

Great job getting Wright who is going to be a day 1 starter at a position of need. We absolutely have to get a pass rusher in the 2nd or 3rd round who can also start. Biggest hole remaining by far.

I don't hate the pick, but I am worried about what happens if Braxton is injured. Wright is not a good fill in for LT.
