Curious to see how these picks go, "positional value" says going something like Mykel Williams at 10 and then Harold Fanning Jr. at 62 is a better way to do what the Bears did with those picks but lets see if Poles found gems despite flipping conventional wisdom on draft.
Fannin will be buried behind Njoku and has Pickett throwing the ball.

Is he the guy that fumbled against GaTech when your dipsh*t head coach couldn’t figure out how to kneel on the ball when the game was over?
I remember that. Was watching live. What a **** up.

How so?

Both the first picks were clearly ben johnson players.

If we wanted big johnson we should accept the players he wants for his offense.

Clearly cold cement is not the tight end he wants.

They also got the OT they wanted in the 2nd round, and the BPA DE/DT
Kmet and McLovin are two different players, playing two different styles of “Tightend”

Poles and BJ are linked at the hip. ITs very likely poles was extended to match ben johnson.

If these picks fail the team sucks and both guys are gone.

Johnson has way more leeway than Poles. Poles is likely gone if they shit the bed this year. Johnson is going to get multiple chances. There is no chance Johnson gets fired after this season. Never say never, but it’s pretty much 0% for him. He’s pretty safe even next year. It would have to be a complete dumpster fire of epic proportions for Johnson to not get at least 3 years.

Blows my mind no one thought WR was a need. We are absolute cheeks outside of DJ and Rome. Lol. The threat now with Burden and Loveland is absolutely a matchup nightmare, add in Swift/draft pick, wow.
Nobody on opposing defenses will be able to take a play off. Top end talent from left to right across the receiving corps.

It's not even about if he's going to be a problem or not moving forward. Green had two separate sexual allegations brought against him . One from H.S and another in college.

There are teams in the NFL that won't touch that with a 10 foot pole. It is what it is.
I won't fault teams not drafting an alleged sexual assaulter / rapist.

Sure im not talking about just 2025 though i think thats an idiotic way to view what teams are trying to do in the draft.

Have no problem with the pick at #10 but the rest of these picks are questionable asf. At #39 and #41 why not address 2/3 needs with the highest rated players available? WR? Huh?!! Trade down to #56 to take a guy at a position you couldve addressed at #41 with a higher rated player at any one of 3 need positions?

Poles seems perfectly fine being Johnson’s ***** and I can’t blame him. Johnson is goi g to save his career and make him a very wealthy and respected GM.

Maybe there wasn’t a big enough spread on how they had them valued.

Nah. Still want a DE or safety plus a RB

Well someone’s a 7th round pick then. You can’t have everything. This is a deep RB draft get that locked in.
