My favorite teams
Oh, I also said that in a vacuum the Loveland pick wasn't great, but pointed out that they had more picks to fill out the draft.
I'm pretty sick and tired of your non-controversial, measured takes. This draft has to be the greatest of all time or the worst ever. Some of us are working on getting Ben Johnson fired as the GM. Until our 56 man roster has 27 OL and 16 DL, this team will never have enough depth to compete.Oh, I also said that in a vacuum the Loveland pick wasn't great, but pointed out that they had more picks to fill out the draft.
So far, I've said that I like the Loveland pick and tried to provide some context as to why they may have made that pick, that I like LB3 but didn't understand the pick, that Ozzy Trapilo sounds like he's a professional, and that Shemar Turner is going to be a favorite. Other than that, I've sprinkled in some jokes about other teams and have participated in the Shedeur Sanders schadenfreude. Can you point me to my exact posts are "reeeeee I only want to see positive about my Bears"?
It had less to do with other teams. Most teams weren’t jumping ahead of the Bears to grab players. The Bears just didn’t move up when they could have.I can appreciate the strategy of "we need a stud RB - if its not a blue chipper then we're not interested". If thats the FO train of thought hopefully they learned from this draft that when you have transparent needs other teams notice.
k...I quoted it.
You should read his drunk rants from yesterday.k...
I don't see how you get to criticize people thinking this may turn out to be a good draft class, while you won't accept the same criticism for pissing your pants over it.

I'm talking all three days.Emotion again, I’m not pissing my pants in the slightest. I have never criticized anyone for thinking this is a good draft class either. That’s just you jumping to conclusions.
We were discussing whether or not they got sniped on picks. Nothing more and nothing less.
^ no emotion.I’m glad you found them entertaining enough to read. Did you get a couple new photos for your Poles shrine over the weekend?
Did they get a pick next year from Buffalo?Yeah, they trade back 23 spots and only get one extra pick. That sounds like terrible value.
I thought it was a 4th from the RamsDid they get a pick next year from Buffalo?
So many trades, it's hard to keep upI thought it was a 4th from the Rams
I hope your right4.42 speed. Right coaching, can replace Edmunds easily.
Maybe but if a RB was that important to them, they had plenty of shots at good ones until they settled on what was left to fill the power or backup position in 7. Could have taken Johnson instead of trading down with Buffalo. Blue was taken the pick after the Bear traded away from the preceding spot. I felt they needed a power short yardage back and they got just that in round 7. I think their desires weren't the same as some of our expectations.I agree with you that they likely had some targets that got picked ahead of them. I am not suggesting they didn't want a RB. And I did want one, and preferably before the guy they got in Round 7.
I just don't understand how they wanted all these guys so badly that they should have done something different. They passed on many several times. To me, that indicates they did not want them, at least at the point where they passed. That seem obvious.
I wanted Henderson and I would not be surprised if they did as well. They traded down soon after he was picked. That did not play well into their needs. I would have wanted them to draft T Banks at #10 had he been there, but I have read that they were not high on him.
I do think they drafted guys who weren't the preference, but were great value. I am ok with how it turned out. But a LT or S would have been nice. As some have suggested, maybe the guy listed as a LB or the one listed as a CB will be a S. We shall see.
Sandburn replacement?I think they said 4.41 tho, still fast for a linebacker. As others said maybe he's the plan for safety?
We do have an opening at SAM linebacker. Sure they may not play much but if he starts 20-25% of reps there not bad for a late 4th rounder.
We damn well need 1Thats a pretty big gamble considering you can trade up a few spots in the early 4th and give up like a 6th next year.
Good pointWe don't know that though, that's just what the outside guys predicted and do they really evaluate these later round guys the way actual NFL teams do? I doubt it very much.
Did you not see what I quoted? The guys style and skills are pretty similar. Why? What indicates that?
