Mason Graham may be the only DL taken near the top of the draft.
what do you consider the top of the draft? and do edge guys count towards DL?

To me..........yes, they do, and Graham is at the top of the DL/Edge list. There are so many edge rushers in this draft and the one you get in the first round may not be much better than the one that drops to the second round.

agreed hes likely at or near the top of the edge/DL group. I just think theres a couple others that could go at the top of the draft as well, depending on what you consider the top of the draft

Cooper Mays - C/Tennessee
Remington award finalist

Make it happen Poles…or whomstever ends up the GM at the time the draft(whenever it is) starts
James Pearce please. I don’t think OSU is going to know what hit them when he lines up in that game… is he fully healthy ?

From what I've heard, edge & tackle are solid at the top this year and interior OL looking real good in middle rounds. Poles should probably use every pick on lineman this year. I'll be honest though, if they come away with a RB at some point in this draft class I probably wouldn't be upset about it.
Agreed. Bears have 8 picks. Four of the first 73 (for now) five of 146. Imo, 4 should be L-men. Also agree w/your take on trying to upgrade the RB position. The others Wildcard depth pieces. Hopefully bring in another Safety. I Like Brisker, but we all know his story.

as far as I know. I know he got dinged up in the Vandy game, though.

OSU is down their starting LT and C, so i agree with ya...if UT's D line can take over, its a wrap

Ollie Gordon in 3rd round would be nice. A trade down. He is an all around back.

Gordon, Giddens, Devin Neal among others. I just think quite a few will probably go in the 2nd and early 3rd, Gordon might be one of those. Bears should go edge in the first and interior ol in the 2nd, but grabbing another ol in the 3rd or 4th with a rb in one of those two rounds really wouldn't break my heart.

Ohio State has the talent to win it all. They just have a huge mental block.

Hampton from UNC is another one to consider.

all the sites ive seen project him as a late round/UDFA guy. but, that shows how little these sites know 4+ months before the draft.

Example, one site i found has him as the 16th best Center available, yet hes a finalist for the Rimmington award as the nations best Center. So, im not sure where they get these "rankings" from, but id be willing to bet he ends up going sooner than these projections have him

tennessee's O line has been a semi finalist for the joe moore award the last 3 years(given to the nations best O line) and Mays has been the center on all of those teams. he hasnt yielded a sack all year either
I know you already know this but the projections are on what these people/sites think these kids will do at the next level in the NFL and of course the awards are for what they did in college. But like you said, this is also 4 months before the draft and things will change, drastically for some, the closer we get to the draft.

Graham is undoubtedly the top of the list for DL and don't see that one changing from here to draft time.

I think Abdul Carter and Mason Graham will go top 10, and deservedly so.

Walter Nolen and Kenneth Grant are also fantastic DT prospects.
Deone Walker wrecked Ole Miss when they played Kentucky. He's more of a run stopper but Ole Miss's really good OL couldn't stop him
