OT: There are 5 games left in the season in which both teams have worst records that da Bears. Including today's Jags-Jets. So with some luck maybe da Bears can get Top-5 pick. I'm not expecting them to win another game.

Highly unlikely with their SOS

Use early rounds for trenches. Don’t use early rounds for RBs unless it’s someone special. Even then a team needs a good oline before drafting and the special RB.

Example Bijan Robinson and Etienne. They haven’t got going due to their Olines suck.
I don't think we've seen, actually i know we haven't seen the best D.Swift because of our OL.

This class is loaded with Defensive Tackle talent, Safety talent and Running Back talent. It's top heavy with its OT talent.

Hopefully the Bears are in a position to draft Campbell or Banks but if they're not then hopefully trading back and picking Aireontae Ersery.

I would love it if the Bears got out of the first round with Ersery and an extra pick or two. He reminds me of Tevin Jenkins minus all of the injuries.

He's an excellent run blocker, excellent anchor very good pass blocker but does need to brush up a bit on his footwork, the high ceiling to improve is present and his floor is still an immediate upgrade to anyone thats currentlty on the Bears roster.

It would be nice if the Bears could adress talent/need with an OT & extra pick(s) from round 1 to allow them to snag a couple of DTs in this class that are a true 1 GAP 4-3 TAMPA 2 tandem.

The Bears have got to get 2 offensive line upgrades in the draft and one in FA, 2 upgrades on the defensive line in the draft, they need a significant upgrade to what we have with Roschon Johnson at HB, a backup QB is also needed.

Netting an extra pick or two would really help the Bears situation.
I've always been all about trading down and gaining more draft picks but the Bears absolutely need to start adding blue chip talent to this team and i think if we could add a blue chip talent on the OL then you do that no matter what. If you can get a guy on that OL that will never have to be worried about and can be that vocal leader on the OL then that could make everyone else around him better.

lol Robinson is having a good damn year and Atlanta has an above average OL, after tomorrow night Bijan will probably have 1600 total yards and maybe 11 total TD’s. Etienne looks like the tread is off the tires. (Not that I am suggesting to use a 1st on a RB)
The tread is off the tires on a 3rd/4th year RB? Hmmmmm

I know I've seen the worst of him and it's him ignoring holes to run directly into a tackler instead. His vision is atrocious
I'm amazed as to how you see the holes that he doesn't see. You must get camera views during the games on Sunday that the rest of the world doesn't get to be able to see all these holes he can't see. LOL

Somewhat kidding but not fully.

He obviously hasn't been great and also hasn't been bad but we don't know what he's seeing because a hole you see with nine or ten 270 - 300+ pound men fighting to get through each other can close very quickly especially when the men on the OL side aren't very good at their jobs.

His vision sucks as evidenced by the fact he has the 2nd worse rushing yards above expected at -116 yards and 4th worst RYOE per attempt at -0.61. So basically he gets almost a hard yard less than what one would expect.

By contrast Barkley leads by gaining 471 RYOE with Henry 2nd at 439 yards. Henry leads in RYOE per attempt at 1.78. Barkely is 2nd at 1.76.

So basically on average the difference between having Swift vs Barkley/Henry is almost 2.4 yards per play.

Hahaha did you just compare Swift to two of the best RB's in football right now who both run behind two of the best OL's (especially Saquan) in football right now?

Oh remy. Only you.

HEEYYYYYYYY........................can someone please come and get in a @remydat vortex with him?? He's lonely....AGAIN.

I sometimes wonder if you'll ever understand that stats don't tell the whole truth or if you'll always just live and die by what the stats say?!

I think guys with Lisfranc injuries really struggle to come back from them. Once a guy has that, I’d just stay away. Besides that though, the Jaguars are trash.

Philly fans complained about this a lot last year. He sometimes fails to read his blocks in the running and passing game.

Well one RB averages nearly a yard more per carry and has considerably less speed, elusiveness or quickness as Etienne once did. Bigsby is the better back in Jacksonville.

No I compared him to the whole NFL RB group by noting he was 2nd worse in the entire NFL in RYOE and 4th worse in RYOE per attempt. That is comparing him too all RBs dumbass.
I sometimes wonder if you'll ever understand that stats don't tell the whole truth or if you'll always just live and die by what the stats say?!
Stats dont tell the whole story. They are just better at telling the story than uneducated fans who resort to deflection when they cant intelligently argue a point. You have no rebuttal to the fact Swift is 2nd and 4th worse in the NFL in RYOE and RYOE per attempt.

Jewels to get a case of Squirt
After yesterday's games and with the remaining schedules, the highest the Bears can get is probably to #6 (with #6 or #7 requiring 2 wins from either CAR and or JAX and Bears to go winless) , and the lowest would be #10 unless they were to win two more games. Even with two more wins #10 would be most likely.

So I think we have a very good idea of where they will pick, with #8 or #9 most likely, then #10, then #7, then #6.

I don't think we've seen, actually i know we haven't seen the best D.Swift because of our OL.

Swift would be doing about 80% of what gibbs is doing in detoilet because of that OL.

Gibbs is clearly the superior player but he'd look shit just like deandre swift behind this OL and shit run blocking from our skill players.

Drafting RB high is always stupid nowadays. Especially considering the best ones make 10-12m a year vs 30m for a WR or defensive end or left tackle

This is also expecting them to lose out, which im not sure still happens. I guess we will see if the team(particularly the defense) comes out juiced tonight. It seemed like they actually had some pride for these packers games.

The seagulls also arent that great, so who knows.

I fully expect about a 9 or 10 pick tho, just good enough to get the 2nd tackle available and then have to flip him inside to guard.

They are going to draft a DE. Take it to the bank

Even if they win one #9 is most likely.
