his board battle play hasnt been all that great ( not worth the 2 million ) He screens the goalie every once in a while, its not like he is holmstrom. And the leadership card is just a reach. Technically all 3 are fans reaching for something to make their arguement

Except that all three aren't...

He is great on the boards (Especially behind the net), is one of the few Hawks who screens the goalie consistently when out there (and does it well), and is probably a leader based on his past and being a veteran.

Quite frankly, all 3 on your side is just someone trying to make sure that his pre-determined analysis of someone is correct...which it isn't.

Brunette has a role, he does it fine. Sure everyone wishes he had more speed and was better defensively, but if you watched Brunette as many times as you watched Shaw in juniors...you would know that Brunette's game isn't that.

you cannot keep using the same old arguement about board battles or whatever else other than points with every player that someone rips on, because after a while when there is a lot of players being bitched about and they arent producing points, the board battles mean nothing, the leadership bs throw shit to the wall and hope it sticks attitude just doesnt work. its really easy to reach up and state that player X is so good at this and that when there is no actual solid evidence of that player being that way.

Dews, you haven't changed one bit either, don't worry about it. My posts show knowledge and consistency. Plenty of Blackhawks that I don't like and I have called out over the years, a whole lot of them. Difference is, I realize the roles that these players are put in and don't expect all of them to put up points, I don't expect every Blackhawk to hit, etc etc.
