Nabby has outplayed both Craw & Emery.

Funny how if Craw bad, he's the worst goalie ever then Emery has a bad game & it's ok.

Emery's GAA 2.80. He'd be under .500 with a team like Columbus.

Nabby has a .925 SV% which ranks 7th in the NHL. 28 games played is a bit more than a sample size.

crawford is at .900 SV% with 38 games played

emery is at .901 SV% with 21 games played

If the deal is right Id like having nabby as our number 1 going into the playoffs.

Of course that was playing in front of a different defense -and there is no real 'defense' playing in a Hawks' uniform at the moment...

No goalie is an island (to paraphrase) -of course most of them probably think they are...

what the team actually needs is someone like Belfour or Hasek in their prime (but who doesn't?) ... and they aren't out there.

While i dont think that craw/Emery duo is top 10 in the NHL, I really think that a revamped defense will help the goaltending immensely

if we learned anything from Niemi is that when you have a GOOD defense (like the cup winning team had) you dont have to be Amazing, you just make the easy saves, and steal a game or 2 (Niemi was amazing in SJ game 1)

****, look at the Wings...their defense made Osgood into a vezina candidate. lmao


Get a top 4 dman to pair with hammer on 2nd pairing and drop leddy/monty to 3rd pairing




Also, wouldnt mind seeing Lepisto get a shot here with our defense woes

I've heard that Campoli is a possibility.

Personally I would be happy to bring Campoli back. More of a #4/5 guy than Sutton/Erskine/etc that we've been hearing. Campoli is a lot more physical and blocks more shots than a lot of people give him credit for.

I realize people are pissed about his last play in a Blackhawks sweater, but o well. I'd take him back at the right price.

yeah those people including joecawks are pissed because he made the right play and burrows made a better play keeping the puck in and then beat crowford. most people are fucking Special person.

I can watch the Campoli give away and subsequent goal. Shit happens and it was a nice shot.
