Browns radio host today said he heard that Chubb is getting close to signing with an NFC North team. I can only assume that is us. I think it’s a great idea on a one year deal. If we can squeeze a year out of him it can buy them some time. Revamp the room next year.

I know he is old, and has an injury history but you aren’t signing a prime Barkley in May.

would love them signing him. basically no risk, all reward situation. if he can even be 75% of what he was, that is a solid contributor

I'd be fine with it. What happened to him would take until next season to be as back as he can be and he'd share reps here.

Dobbins is a better option. Chubb looked past done last year and ended the season injured again

I think he looked like a guy coming off a major injury which he is now another year away from. He is still just 29, a bounce back year is possible I think.

Dobbins is a good option as well. Hell sign both of them.

I think he came back a little too soon and should have sat out last year, him or dobbins on a 1 year prove it deal with incentives isn't a bad idea.

Chubb is still a big if.

But "IF" he can get back to 90% of his former self this year he is still a top 10 back in the NFL and a top 5 guy in 2 TE sets.

I'd be stoked about this signing.

While that would obviously be outstanding we don’t even need him to do that. Can he average 4 yards and convert 3rd and 1?

Browns were dumb af for playing Chubb at all, brought him back too soon.
He’ll be better, maybe not a 100% chubby, but 85% high mast will get the job done.
I hope that's what is is because he looked completely washed last year

Does he bring his own set of crutches or does Halas Hall have them?

I assume with the Bears history they buy them in bulk.
