Smith is good in the run game so he could be key replacing Gordon if they let him play nickel as he has spent most of his time playing wide.

Think Hicks/Owens are decent replacements for Brisker.

They have a good running game, Gordon’s ability to shut down outside runs is going to be missed. Of course some on here believe Gordon brings nothing to the table for the defense.

Smith isn't replacing Gordon. It will be Blackwell
Yes that is why I said if. Smith has been hurt most of the season but if they want a better run defender in the nickel they could opt for Smith given Commanders top rushing offense.

Menwhile you can use Blackwell on passing downs. Or they may rotate Tyrique and Terell on the outside. Or let Jaylon play nickel if he shadows Terry and Terry is in the slot. A lot of options.

We will see how good that run game is without the threat of jayden

Oh no not Brisker! Bears need to find someone else who can knock himself unconscious on the rare occasions he makes a good angle on a pursuit.

I still think he's going to play for some reason. I could be wrong; wouldn't be the first time.
He’s playing. He’ll be limited but poverty franchises make stupid decisions like this.

They can always go 3 LBs and play Sanborn more instead of relying on nickle as much
Thats what I figured they'd do anyways if daniels was healthy.

Gordon does tackle really well, but without him in sandborne should get more run against a team like this

If we can afford injuries to any position, it's secondary, so that's a silver lining. I like how the Bears aren't trying to rush these guys back as well. Let them get healthy before the division games start.

Jewels to get a case of Squirt
Sanborn plays based on the offense's personnel packages, they aren't going to play him when he's have to match up with WR or move TE.
