Noah getting reamed and probably fined for using *** slur

Surprised there isn't a topic for this. It is early so I'm sure the fine will be coming, but any news source is reporting on game 3, but also about how Noah told a fan to "shut the **** up, ******." He then apologized immediately after the game.

Thoughts, if any?

I don't really care. F.a.g. means pussy, wuss, wimp, sissy, etc. to me. A lot of PC people will talk about how society has progressed past those "insults" and equate it to racial slurs, but I don't buy it.

A *** is a ***.

The NBA will surely be pissed and he'll definitely be fined, especially since they're having some of their players endorse those "saying *** for something that's stupid isn't cool" commercials that we've been seeing.


My opinion though? I don't care as long as he isn't suspended for it.

I wish he would call Chris Bosh a F.A.G and piss him off..then they can fight and get Bosh ejected..We can live without Noahs 5 fouls,5 rebounds and 1 point for a couple games..it would effect Miami much much worse..

Correction: We can live without the ref's sucking Miami's vagina, but we know that's not gonna happen.

And yes, this is a bunch of PC nonsense. Too much politics has entered sports that does not belong there (e.g. Go Green) and must end. I don't need to recycle, pander to thin-skinned **** and pussies, support breast cancer funding, or ethnic diversity to enjoy watching Da Bulls and Da Bears smash our enemies. Hell, most of the money donated to such causes ends up in bureaucrats pockets anyway, whom in turn make sports worse.

I agree that the refs like sucking the fagass Heats dicks..And since the refs and the league plays unfair, then that's why I suggest one of the Bulls players takes out one of the Heat players like Bosh, whether it be by pissing them off and getting them ejected or just kncoking one of the 3 bitches out.....I miss the old days like the Knicks Bulls or Bulls Piston playoffs from the late 80s and early 90s...The refs let men be men...Now they pamper the ones they choose or take cheating orders from higher powers(David Stern)...

its true...and as I said when Kobe did it...its inexcusable. There is simply no reason to justify it...none. He was in the workplace and he can't and shouldn't be allowed to use that type of language...period.

I think Kobe already got a 100k fine for saying the same - though he did say it to a ref - though Stern is more protective of the fans.

Expect Noah's to be near the amount of Kobe's.

Rightful fine for anyone that says that to a fan/ref. I don't go around at my work calling people ****. I'd be in trouble too.

Well, for one thing the referee probably wasn't heckling Kobe and talking trash to him, like the fan was doing to Noah. Kobe was just reacting to a call he didn't agree with.

But I think Noah should be fined, anyway. Fans are gonna heckle players from opposing teams.

There are a lot of kids who watch NBA basketball and the league wants to set a good example. personally, I think this politacal correctness has gone too far but this isn't the 1950s. Like it or not, everyone is really quick to be offended, now and the League has a responsibility to police this stuff if only for good PR.

I don't think it's that big a deal, but then again, I'm not ***. I don't think it's a big deal when someone uses the "N" word but then again, I'm not black, either. I would never use either of those words, but I'm not like most people.

I think it's gotten quite ridiculous with how easily people are offended. Honestly, sometimes I think it's just an excuse to take legal action and try to get some benefits from that.

The NBA is a part of a campaign against *** slurs...my asking Rush that question is based on his opinions concerning Kobe using the word. BOTH used it in the heat of the moment...its inexcusable to me either way. Noah apologized because he was wrong...I don't know whether the fan or Bennie Adams deserved it. I do know neither Kobe or Noah should say it on the basketball court...

Kobe calling the ref that for a call he didn't like, is different then calling an obnoxious drunk fan that.

Im sure the fan was being less than civil, compared to a referee just doing his job and Kobe didn't like the call.

Neither are good moves and bad PR but Kobe's is much worse.
