Probably not, but I'm not sure how that excuses Noah. I'm also wondering why Noah seemed to be so concerned with what was going on in the stands, because he certainly didn't seem to care about what was happening on the court.

Okay...why is the standard different for Kobe than it is for Noah? I don't get that at all...

I think it's actually worse that it was directed towards a fan, as opposed to a ref.

Please, don't give me the "Paid a lot of money for those seats"... I've paid a lot of money for things, and I don't feel the right to talk like that.

What right does that give Noah, a professional, to yell something back at him? Especially when you consider his focus should have been on what was in front of him, and not behind him.

Well if that is the case then I can understand why Noah would get upset but he needs to focus on the game at hand. I believe Noah should have been fined (not nearly as much as he did) and that fan shouldn't be allowed to come to anymore games through out the playoffs. A fan did the same thing to Lebron and when Lebron blew up at him the fan was removed same thing should happen to this fan as well

That the fan said shit about his mother. Noah stated it and teamates heard shit as well. Also, it's a Heat fan who was drunk. Makes even more sense.

I told my parents I took the trash out when I didn't when I was a kid. Just because I said one thing doesn't make it true.

Can you say he probably said something offensive like nearly every fan says to visiting basketball players? Yes, that's reasonable. Can you say that's what was said without question? I don't think your science teacher would fall for that rationale.

I agree. I believe Noah's version of what happened. Why would he make it up? He's been heckled his entire pro career and usually doesn't react to it. Whatever was said must have been especially offensive for him to react the way he did.

None of that matters. Noah was wrong to respond. As hard as it is to do, the right thing would have been to ignore it, or let security know what was going on.

The fan was wrong. Noah was wrong. At least Noah has apologized and been punished. It's time to focus on game 4 now.
