It's always been kind of ghetto there. Also, the shooting a few years ago on Valentine's Day 2008 wasn't a black kid.

But I know there have been some more recent ones.

Yeah, The Vday one wasn't a African American, but the 3 others this year have been African Americans.


It's not a bad school. Just too many kids thinking they are tough.

It's really hard to transfer into UT. They have a transfer acceptance rate of about 30%.
The only Texas school I could really go to and enjoy somewhat would be North Texas and that's about a 30 min drive from where I am now. There's a good chance I end up there since it's about $3,500/semester. :lol:

I hate it here though. That's why I'm looking at out-of-state schools. :lol:

Not a real big fan of the Dallas area. Downtown is kind of ghetto(boarded up windows and shit)...but I love Fort Worth and the areas around TCU, SMU, etc.

The BBQ there is obviously fucking off the hook.

The Stockade, or Stock yards or whatever the **** it is down there is cool too. I swear to god I had a steak there once that was as big as my torso.

Hmm..I'm also looking at Iowa State, Iowa, Kansas St, Ohio State (I've heard Columbus is ghetto though) and Kentucky (mainly because my dad graduated from there). I checked out Depaul, but that costs $45,000/yr. :lol:

If you're not in a rush you should establish residency first in whichever state you choose to go to school in (work for a year maybe) and then transfer to the school.

If you have any questions about the University of Kentucky, let me know. I'm looking at transferring to a school either in Chicago or close to the city myself, but only because I miss Chicago. UK is a good school and pretty fun too.
