This took place like 15 min from my house. I knew i could feel a nearby energy.
You might be into something. I'm Brett Kollman's top 5 steals of the draft video he said both Jenkins and Herbert barely missed making the list. Not joking.Okay, so basically Herbert won't make Cohen obsolete is what you guys are saying. Even though he's got Pace's classic late round RB stud grade and quite possibly a round 6 2021 STEAL.
@modz Please lock thread. That's a wrap!
If you're talking about his ACL tear, it was on a fair catch, and an opponent was blocked into him. Just bad luck, nothing about manning up, running north and south, whatever.Cohen tried to man up and run north & south and he got hurt.
His injury was one of those freak injuries that happened on a fair catch. He did not anticipate getting hit. Given that, I really like the RBs Pace picked up in the draft. There is going to be a battle for the 3rd and 4th spots with the option of moving the 5th player to the practice squad. Nall is not in consideration.Herbert isn't the pass catcher that Cohen is, so I doubt Cohen's job is in jeopardy.
I would like to see Cohen play the slot some more, although am worried he'd get plastered eventually and back in IR.
Id never heard of him until the draft but i got to say hes a nice little back. I like he brings a totally different style from Montgomery and is nice change of pace. Will be interesting to see how effective he is as a back up.I've been staying up late watching a ton of tape on this Herbert guy and I like his make up. Shifty back with speed and vision. Cohen can take a seat!
the idea of getting something for Cohen is pretty hilarious
The best part is he uses "man up" with Cohen and he refuses to man up himself.How many posters on here would take this as you saying Cohen got hurt by running north and south? My guess is all of them. It's pretty pathetic you say something like this and try to spin it. Learn how to phrase shit if that's not what you meant.
Nagy in his genius, has a new alignment where the backfield is turned 90* when handing off to Cohen.well, Pace gave him a new contract even tho it was well known he runs sideline to sideline.....I think they will be happy to have Cohen back
