Not sure if they will go back into full suck mode or not, but maybe a lesser version of it. There is absolutely no pressure anymore. Just look at the end of last year and how well they played when they were dead in the water.

Even bad teams go through a good stretch. most teams win 5 games in row at some point in the season. Bad teams still have to win 65-70 games

I'm mentally sick since I actually spent five seconds figuring out the record that the Cubs would have to finish the year with 90 wins (43-7 mere .860 winning percentage btw).

Even though the season is lost this little stretch has been fun to watch. I am hoping they can continue it to complete knock out Dusty and the Reds from the playoff picture.
