It's not the calls of WRITTEN rules that's screwing us...it's the JUDGMENT CALLS and unwritten rules that are killing us...
stuff like allowing Dwyane Wade 6 minutes late in the fourth quarter to close an elbow wound while he and his ULTRA-gassed teammates catch wind during what was a nice Chicago run to tie the game with the Heat having NO ENERGY left.
stuff like not calling a technical foul on the Heat for having 6 on the floor, and instead having "pity" and letting them take it out again.
stuff like not giving the ball to Chicago via turnover when Miami throws their inbounds pass and it makes contact with a referee who is a neutral entity...when a ball hits a neutral entity that's out of bounds, the last team to touch before the contact loses possession.
stuff like 2 or 3 off ball fouls (as the ball crosses the timeline) in a quarter allowing Miami to spend from 8:45 (allowing them to score 8 from the line, originally down 5) and 6:32 in the bonus (allowing them to score 8 from the line, originally down 11) in seperate games (both of which Chicago lost)
stuff like that....it's judgement stuff...stuff not directly affecting play that really DOES affect play.
