I am watching the Hawks right now and think Kostka might be an upgrade at 7th D over Brookbank.

The Jennings Trophy winning defense will be coming back intact.

Could be...Kostka and Peckham made some mistakes tonite all in all, but Brookbank handed Pittsburgh their first goal and his did that a lot last year whenever we rested Rosy. I am glad Kostka and Peckham are here.

A Blackhawk staff member told me they are really high on Hayes and he has the inside track to stay.

Only because Brookbank makes a MIL. If not he'd be gone for one of the Kids. Which is bad since the kids get more ice time in Rockford.

Wino they were waived today.

What does everybody think of Nordstrom? He seemed to play well with Kruger on the 4th. Think he makes the final cut?

I like Nordstrom but between Smith, Morin, and Bollig he'll have a tough time cracking the line-up this year.

I heard he was playing with Kruger on the PK, too. Could take Frolik's place, but it's a number's game with Smith, Morin, Hayes, Bollig, and Pirri -to a certain extent - fighting for 3 or 4 spots.

BTW, that was a sick goal that he scored on Jimmy Howard. and then he blows the breakaway later, ...DOH!
