If he can put up points, I don't care, playing like that still has the potential to be extremely dumb in a lot of situations, but if he's skilled and that's what comes to the forefront more often than not, I don't give a shit. Like I didn't care about that stuff when Eager was here. Be a better hockey player than you are some guy who just fights. That's all I ask from a guy in that role if Q feels the need to dress a player in it. Which, even when he does, he's really not used at all in the way other teams use enforcers, which makes someone like Bollig beyond expendable on this team.

Training camp starts in a few weeks already. Short summer. Going to be a long season with the Sochi Olympics mixed in.

My theory? The Hawks will repeat. Seemingly they thrive in compressed schedules. 2010 with the Olympics, last year with the short season.

For some reason I thought we had given up on Shalunov... guess I'm thinking of someone else?

Yeah, maybe he's the one... showed up at a camp and wowed, but missed the cut and took his ball and went home? I don't have the best memory when it comes to prospects though, just ask Bookie...

those are the articles i sorta still feel iffy about the Hawks. They mention Tallon, but barely in passing and with pretty much no credit. Sure Bowman does have a great system in place and was there as a right hand man for building the first cup team, but shit man.... who started building the foundations of that system....?

oh well, i'm happy haha.

The one who allowed you to see a Stanley Cup for the first time in YOUR lifetime in Chicago. Remember him?
