Very hard for me to complain when Bears started the day with three picks and now have seven. I know none of them are guaranteed to work out, but I’m glad the new GM gets to show us the types of players he wants.

I think Shakir is a significantly better WR prospect than the guy Poles took in the 3rd round, but Poles prioritized more picks over taking Shakir at 148.

I wonder if Poles was gambling that Shakir would still be there at 150, and that's why he traded down again.

OG Lecitus Smith or Marquis Hayes would be a great pick.

WR Justyn Ross suddenly seems appealing.

I suspect he will be signing a vet WR after the draft.

Bears had 148 and 150. If they really wanted Shakir they would have traded the Bills 150. They were obviously fine with the Bills jumping ahead of them.
