No, it's not hard, if anything Poles is following Holme's blueprint.
LTFOL!! The 66 year and no sign of an end blueprint?

Just FYI… The Lions roster is decent. They sure as hell aren’t world beaters. And that rah, rah coach thing wears out quickly in the NFL.

Jared Goff is pretty dumb. Go reference the Rams when they were on Hard Knocks to get an idea of exactly how dumb.

They should win the division but I doubt they will.
I'd say their roster is better than decent and say they have a good roster but the pass rush could need one more guy. Definitely not world beaters.

Goff is a good QB. He's not really good or great but good enough to win with.

On paper they should win the division but on paper means nothing.

With all that they still have a better roster than we do, but if Fields takes that step we're all hoping he does then the Bears will be above them next year if most of the moves Poles has made in free agency and the draft work out for us this year and with whatever he does next offseason ends up a positive.

The bears sound like they are ready to make noise in 2023, but let’s all keep expectations in check. We get gushing stories like this about the bears every year in OTAs and training camp. This year, our weakness will probably be DLine, and more specifically edge rushers. Let’s keep that in mind over the next few weeks as we read these stories. Fields isn’t facing pressure and the DLine isn’t putting on pads yet. We will still see these gushing stories until the season starts. However, when the season starts is when we find out for sure how much the team has grown.

does this change anyone's predictions on the Panthers win total this season?
I think he is going to be a very good QB and maybe even immediately. However, I also think he’s going to struggle with injuries. The NFC South is going to be pretty terrible though, so they could make the playoffs. The Panthers are probably one of the hardest teams in the league to predict this year.

They should be mediocre, but playoffs is a longshot. Wildcard wont come out that division and the saints should win it imo. Olave will beast with Carr

Ok, there is just so much about this post that is just plain stupid.

If Fields isn’t the guy for the Bears- our GM has out us in position to remedy that and has built a base for that new qb. Pretty good position.

What? The Lions haven't built a good "Base" for a new QB (if need be)? Put the crack pipe down. The lions have one of the best O-lines in the league. They also have a promising rookie that will be having a red shirt year.

But I disagree with you that tearing a team down is easy- if it was, your Lions would recognize that their team is lost bc you don’t have the QB to win in the playoffs, ****- with that roster they should have made the playoffs and couldn’t even accomplish that small feat.

How many of the Lions losses last year were the fault of the offense or Goff? This statement is not based in reality. The lions fielded the youngest defense in the league last year, and yes, there were growing pains.

So, tearing things down is a lot harder than you think- most teams don’t have the balls to do it- they sit there in their middling success and never do what it takes to build a team correctly so they can have continued success.

No, it's not hard, if anything Poles is following Holme's blueprint.

If Goff gets injured, well, I can say that just about any team that isn't named the 49's. What if Fields gets injured? Which is more likely?
There’s just one thing stupid about your posts-‘You! The common denominator. Simple Fact. Don’t have a nice day. Thanks-

I tell you this, I do expect this team to be better than last year. Growth, progression, and some new help is the reason. But I don’t expect to be 14-3. I just want to see progression which I believe we will see barring any big injuries.

All of them- he’s such a loser that he affects the defense too! Lmfao

Dude, how don’t you get it? The overall message I was saying is that if it was so easy to tear down an NFL team- 15 teams in the NFL would do it. Purging takes balls! It’s easy in theory to tear down a team but it rarely happens- the Cardinals are doing it this year and probably won’t have more than 1 year. It’s the smart way.

This is a Bears page- I’m glad we got Poles bc we needed a GM to do the right thing and build the team the right way. I am an intelligent adult and have even said this many times: I hope Poles has the skill to draft properly and bring in the right free agents. I have even been critical on the veterans he’s brought in so far.

I have also said many times recently that the Lions have a superior team on paper and been critical of how bad the Bears have been- but the Bears last year were bad on purpose as it was part of the plan- maybe not 3-14 bad but they weren’t just signing older expensive players to make them better in the short term- Poles has an agenda and is mostly sticking to it.

I even think that the Claypool move may have been a tactic to show Fields that he’s committed to him and that there’s no way I expected much of Claypool bc he went to a new team in the middle of the year.

Now why don’t you go to a Lions page and talk about how they’re going to waste another year of talented players and a shitty result. Until they prove otherwise- I’m sticking with what they know , and that is LOSING!

We can talk in two years when they the Lions are still looking at 500 and never winning shit and we are at the top of the division. The Vikings are in the midst to blow things completely up and the Packers have no QB from what we can tell.

I will never post with you again, you’re a delusional dork that lives in your own little world.

1) Current Ownership
2) Current GM
3) Current coaching staff.
4) Current Roster

1) Same Ford family that has over a historically bad franchise aince 1963.

2) Hasn't fielded a playoff team in 2 years.

3) Hasn't fielded a playoff team in 2 years.

4) Haven't made the playoffs in 2 years.

In conclusion, the Lions haven't proven anything these past 2 years.
