I wouldn't be mentioning the last one. Montgomery is a better all around back than both those guys at the moment but we'll see what Roshon's got. Foreman appears to be a better fit for this offense though as a rusher. Part of Montgomery's absense will also be made up by more carries for Herbert. Better rusher but not as good in the blocking and receiving game.

That said, Moore over Pettis is about as big a jump imaginable. Also add year 3 Justin over year 2 which could be a big improvement too.
Montgomery costs more than all of our rb’s alone! I’ll take these three for 5 million than his half time play for 6 million any day of the week. That’s strong cap management

That's not the point though. To say Foreman and Johnson are, right now, an upgrade over a guy who earned that $6 mil aav contract with this very team is just premature. I share the same optimism though.

Foreman did in fsct outperform him last year as a runner though so it is entirely fair to say Foreman is a better rumner. Monty may be the better all around back.

You cant be this stupid. Wright didnt get any targets because Hock was better ie proving my point. Even if you want to say that 216 yards was in 10 games. Once again Hock had 395 yards in just 7 games which is better than Wright in 3 less games. He had 519 yards with Minny in 10 games which is also better than Wright.

It isnt my logic. It is yours as you damn well know you have used it before when it suited you. Lawrence, Wilson and Lance were considered better prospects but only by about 10 picks. Hock was considered a full round better than LaPorta by your logic. I repeat this is your logic that you have used on here before.

1) I never compared Wright to Hock, only brought it up as you were implying when Hock left, the Lions offense struggled, which was complete bullshit, they actually rated better after his departure. The "slack" was picked up by various people, so stop trying to make it a Wright vs Hock comp. That is stupid.

2) And LaPorta was picked one round later, that does not mean he will not perform as good, if not better, than Hockenson. Amon St. Brown was picked in the 4th round, how does he compare to Chris Claypool?

Tonyan, Tyler Scott, and Roschon are super intriguing additions at three different skill positions. There‘s no way of knowing how they’ll perform but if a couple of these guys look good with flashes of “great,“ that is extremely valuable depth for an offense with prime/unleashed DJ Moore, a hopefully ascending Kmet, and a dangerous/consistent run game of Herbert/Foreman/Fields.
I have to admit I had a "let's see if he's healthy" approach to Tonyan with regards to his previous injury, but on that TD catch he made in mini-camp, he was moving. He looked like a wide receiver on that play.

Last season Jenkins played in 13 games and started 11 and ended up excelling at a position (RG) that he had never played before. I would say he consistently played at a high level last year.

Marc Colombo had a solid career mostly with the Cowboys. The only thing similar between Colombo and Jenkins was losing most of their rookie years to injury. Jenkins was a back injury and Colombo suffered a dislocated kneecap and damaged his femoral nerve, which at the time appeared to be a career ender. I give Colombo a ton of credit for coming back from that injury and playing 3+ years for the Bears and 6+ years for the Cowboys and Dolphins.
Yeah but I'm still pissed at him for injuring Tommie Harris.

TJ had a total of 367 yards receiving his rookie year. Care to wager LaPorta will have more?

.......crickets..................

I love how you keep making these wagers yet I clearly remember you wagering a self forum ban for an entire year that you never held your bargain when you lost.

Why keep offering these bets as if it’s a ‘gotcha’ call when you are a notorious fraud? Ain’t nobody want to make these silly wagers with you.

With a guy that is a well known bet welcher? You and your defender, the $5 swindler commissioner, @dabears70, are good bedfellows.

I got a wager for you.

For 2 months on this BEARS board you don’t mention or talk about anything related to the Lions. If you do, you’re banned for 2 months. If you don’t, I’ll walk away for 2 months. Deal?

I have a bet with @HeHateMe, I won't "welch" on it if I lose. the prior bet has been discussed ad nauseam, the person I made that bet with released me from the terms of the wager, so deal with it. I didn't owe anybody else anything.

No you don’t. Your bet is for him not to talk Lions. This bet is for you not to talk or discuss anything regarding the Lions. Completely different Rick.
@nc0gnet0 We have a deal? This bet will start as soon as you’re done with being banned from HHM bet. By that time you will have probably disappeared anyways.
