I mean, with Mooney and Claypool already not at practice, he's already getting reps. Injuries will likely happen in the season as well.
With injuries It all depends on where Scott ends up on the depth chart. Even if Scott has more raw talent at this point in time, I would not put him above Pettis or VJJ who have been in this system for a year. For rookies this is not a plug and play system.

I know people shit on DBB but this holds true

"If wasting a second-round pick brings this building down, the structural integrity never existed at the start."
It really wasn’t a bad article by him. I do find it funny that he mercilessly mocks SM and Erik Lambert but some clueless posters here link to SM website all the time. SM even links to DBB at times. What a clusterfuck of no shame.
I’m pretty sure @Anytime23 posts links to DBB & Sports Crappery every hour. Don’t quote me on that though.

Hey dipshit @nc0gnet0

Please go be the dumbest poster on one of these forums. Or blast yourself into the sun…

Either way, please fuck off…

I know he would get banned from The Den. They think he has a douche personality and they aren’t wrong.

1) I never compared Wright to Hock, only brought it up as you were implying when Hock left, the Lions offense struggled, which was complete bullshit, they actually rated better after his departure. The "slack" was picked up by various people, so stop trying to make it a Wright vs Hock comp. That is stupid.

2) And LaPorta was picked one round later, that does not mean he will not perform as good, if not better, than Hockenson. Amon St. Brown was picked in the 4th round, how does he compare to Chris Claypool?

1. No you are making shit up. I never implied the O struggled. I said quite clearly that he could have helped yall make the playoffs as Wright does not compare. So stop lying and making up shit.

2. This is irrelevant. The comment was that Hock was considered a better prospect. A first round pick is considered a better prospect than a 2nd rounder. Doesnt mean that is how it will turn out so quit being stupid.

Obviously he was not a better prospect in the eyes of Lions management, and to date, they have a pretty good record. Much better than the Bears "let's trade the 32nd overall pick" for Claypool or let's use a third on VJJ morons.

So tell me, moving forward, who will be a more integral part of their team, Claypool, or LaPorta?
Which one will be the better use of resources?

OUCH!!!!!

Well this is a BEARS forum not a Lions. If you want to talk Lions football then go to a Lions forum. So that is why the bet is legit. Really sad I had to explain that to you. Pretty pathetic you can’t keep from talking Lions on a Bears forum. If you can’t go 2 months without talking Lions on a Bears forum, then you have some major issues in life.

Well the statement you were referring to was from 2022. I already started I was wrong multiple times regarding it. Again, it doesn’t bother me I was wrong.
Oh go fuck yourself. My comments are made only after a post or thread created addressing the Lions. In other words, if you don't want me to talk about the Lions, don't post about them, ignoramus.

Probably claypool.

Rookie TE's rarely play well...and when they do the lions just trade them away.

LMAO, moving forward does not imply one year.
Although it is highly unlikely Claypool is a Bear next year.
Trade them away? You mean like Smith?

Claypool already had a better career than about 70% of second round picks.

You're just trying to hype up every lions player like you do every offseason. In reality, the TE position takes the longest to develop outside of Quarterback. You guys had a good one and decided to trade him away to draft another one, who has a good chance of busting because all players do.

It's why I tell bears fans that Kmet is more than good enough, because developing and finding a good TE is difficult. New England just drafted two busts in one draft. For every Pat Freiermuth you get 2 adam shaheens.

I’d rather use a 3rd on Velus than a 3rd on that DL you probably could have picked up as an UDFA.

You bring up a lot of comments regarding the Lions without a reason to. You also sit there and bad mouth the Bears without a reason to. You do realize the Lions get brought up on this board because you’re here right? In other words no one wants you here yet you still show up looking for attention. Stop being a pussy and take the bet you fucking loser.

No, that is penny wise and dollar foolish.
Disagree- unfortunately or fortunately a rb of montgomery’s skill is easily replaced with low cost rookies or cheap journeymen.

Khalil Herbert is a superior rb just not quite as good as a receiver or blocker but far superior in pure running- so overall I’ll take what we have at 5 mill over 1 Montgomery at 6 mill every day of the week and twice on Sundays!

If Monty was so good why did you use a first round pick on a second round rb? I think he’ll be good to be honest, so
Why sign Monty- that is dollar fucking foolish
