Hock was looking at getting a monster contract, one that the Lions did not want to pay. Instead of losing him for nothing, they traded him while he still had value. It really is that simple, and it is the same thing that happened with 'Quan. Stopping trying to make chick salad out of chicken shit.
This is probably the simple truth. I won’t disagree with you just bc I disagreed with you in the past and you were rude.

But what you said is probably the skinny of why they got rid of him. Was it a good move, I don’t know bc he’s probably one of the top second tier te’s in the league and I doubt laPorta brings that kind of production but maybe they don’t value the te as much as others.

Regardless, it’s a Lions move for sure

That's all you can find for 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. Well that's not bad at all for 4 years but thanks for taking the time. I'm not even bitching about them in some of those posts. Keep looking please.
This is hilarious!

The best is the one where dongbears makes an Eddie and the cruisers reference and has to state it’s an Eddie and the cruisers reference bc no normal human being remembers that fucking movie and he was so proud of it too!

Trade your best LB for a 2nd and 5th, yet upgrade the group to #2 in the NFL without the use of top 4 rd draft capital. ?
Bears lose:
Roquan Smith 5-years, 100Mil, 45M guaranteed

Bears gain:
Tremaine Edmunds- 4 years, 72Mil, 36.8M guaranteed
TJ Edwards- 3 years, 19Mil, 7.9M guaranteed
Gervon Dexter
Noah Sewell

Bears got 2 LBs for less guaranteed and less overall money for the price of one, to upgrade the position and defense overall, while also getting 2 draft picks, also added to the defense. Not to mention, it gave them the flexibility to trade for Claypool since they had the other 2nd in hand.

Lions would have traded roquan and then drafted 2 bust linebackers.

Most people rate Roquan above Edmunds. Questionable whether the position has been "upgraded."

The music is actually one of the best made for film soundtracks ever, but to remember the lines of the movie is terrible.

The music was amazing but the film sucked.

I have always said that the music that they made specifically for a movie is one of the best ever if not the best.

Most music made for a movie is terrible but this shit was awesome

Sadly, and I know this will seem sacrilegious to some (it would have even to me at one point in my life), but everything you just said also applies to... *sigh* Purple Rain. It's a truly horrible movie when seen through the eyes of anything other than an angst-filled teenager.

He wasn't on the Bears his rookie year moron, those days are gone. You traded a 2nd round pick for this current version of Claypool, now you take the bet or shut the fuck up.
That wasnt the point moron. The point is to compare their rookie seasons. All that tough talk and now you copping pleas because you know LaPorta aint coming close to 874 yards and 11 TDs.

You are the same jackass that celebrates Goff's Pro Bowls with the Rams and Stafford's Super Bowl with Rams.

I wouldnt draft an off ball LB in the top 15 either hence why I was against the Quan pick. So your whataboutism isnt going to help you. You are just proving the point. Even if they are good you are unlikely to give a monster contract to a TE, RB or off ball LB so kind of silly to waste a first rounder on them.

They likely have to be top 3-5 in the NFL to justify a 2nd contract which is a huge bar to meet.

Let’s just take a minute for Big Poles playing Spades!

Tremaine Edmunds arrives from Buffalo after a long-awaited breakout that saw massive increases in his overall (81.9) and coverage (90.0) grades,” wrote Dalton Wasserman for PFF. “The latter mark, along with his 10 pass breakups, led all qualified linebackers.

“T.J. Edwards comes with less fanfare but was the unsung hero of the Eagles’ elite defense. He played nearly 1,200 snaps and graded above 78.0 against the run, in coverage and as a pass-rusher, which added up to the sixth-best overall grade (81.6) at the position.”
