It’s so silly. SEA and WAS might be in QB limbo but they’ll probably draft one. And then they’ll have a young WB who needs help at WR to develop.

The whole argument to get fields a weapon at WR applies to any team that would have rookie contract QB

Can’t give the QB weapons without having the QB first. Doubt they want to wait to their pick to draft a QB and Miss on their guy

Dude, you got the great story of Brian Robinson getting shot that they can talk about and scary terry is a good personality!

and riverboat Ron! Sure, he may be a bit of a meatball, but he’s entertaining and you know where you stand with him!

then again, I guess with the Jets they can just show Zach Wilson’s mom during any downtime
This is HBO. Not Skinemax with Wilson’s mom.

Kinda interesting that their stats are quite similar when you figure the difference in volume of passes.
Even their highlight films are a wash. Both were throwing to 3-4 1st rnd WR's and standing behind outstanding OL's.

I love how quickly press, fans, and hopefully GMs turn to the new shiny toy without regard to the circumstances. If CHI can get a few extra day 1 and/or day 2 picks this season ,and esp a 1st next yr, that likely will be high enough to offer another blue chip player I would be over the moon.
I think it’s more of the awareness, quick throws, reaction, and quick release. Even in college, Fields looked slower at releasing the ball compared to him. And his reaction looks a tad slower than Bryce. But at this stage with Fields already having NFL experience and 1 year in this system, might as well roll with what you got and hope he pans out.

A lot can and will happen before the draft, but at this point it appears to be shaking out to be the ideal scenario for the 2 trade down dream. Two QB's considered to be significantly better than the rest of the class, with one of those two being a 2-1 favorite over the other to be taken with the 1st pick. That bodes well for a Houston trade up to get Young, and someone else wanting to move up to the #2 slot to get Stroud as well. 4th & 12 and 4th & 20 happened... Why not go full miracle?
