I'm wondering if all this talk, which is everywhere, about how the bears are going to fleece some team that trades up to #1 has any effect on GM's and their willingness to trade up to #1 so the whole sports world can talk about how the bears fleeced them gets in these GM's heads at all. I mean i can't remember the last time the team with the top pick was talked about this much on so many different media/sports shows/pod casts. I get why, but still it's been a regular topic on some shows every day of the week that they do their shows.

Correct so unless you in love with him and plan on staying at 1 you probably will miss out on him anyway. So might as well get the best value trading down as the next tier down probably is 10-15 players deep.

With Carter pretty much off the board and any trade down means no Anderson I don’t mind going pass the 4th pick and getting even better trade package going. And shoutout to @dentfan this is where maybe bijan or jsn become legit main targets. Maybe even one of the lt. Im passing if it’s not Anderson
