I don't want to drag anyone around while simultaneously dragging everyone around.

It won't be soon enough when we never have to hear from this attention whore again.
Tell us how it ends, great script keeper!!

To be honest, I am so disappointed in last year's performance that I wouldnt be upset with drafting two WRs this year with the intent on giving this unit a complete 180. I do not care if Claypool falls apart and we wasted the second if the unit as a whole has turned it around. I do not care if VJJ gets cut to make room for more promising players. Just get that unit fixed!
I'd be more surprised if they don't draft two WR than if they do.

I still believe Claypool will be fine. They aren't gonna cut VJJ this year but I remain hopeful he might be buried on the depth chart or even demoted to the PS, which as far as I can tell would still be allowed.

Since they're #1 on the waiver wire, I could see them picking up cap casualties. It's crazy rich, but someone like Frank Clark who has a $28m hit for 2023 and is a FA in '24. There's several good, but older OL that will hit the market too they could spend on similar to Reiff, like DJ Humphries, Shaq Mason etc...

Vets who are cut dont get put on waivers. They are released and immediately become free agents.

As someone else mentioned, if he is told something off the record he can’t share that. His career is based on people telling him things …. Can’t ruin these relationships.

Do you really think he’s a saint and this is the first mistake he’s made???
I don’t think it’s that simple.

If three coaches tell McShay he’s an asshole but don’t want to go on the record out of fear for their jobs should he ignore it?

Yes this is a hypothetical scenario. But not unrealistic either
If I say off the record the dude is an asshole then you arent supposed to report that period. Think you guys are confusing off the record with anonymous.

An anonynous source is still on the record. They just dont want their name printed.

No way in hell will VJJ get cut. He did some good things the last couple of games so he gave himself a longer leash.
