Vorhees family is known for quick recovery times just look at his Dad.

Season starts in September. No way he’ll be ready and OL typically take longer to recover than players lighter and more athletic. Would be a huge gamble. One I would not take

Biggs is hearing 18 a year for Dre’Mont. Think I said 17 last week. Those DT’s are expensive

WORD IS DRE’MONT JONES IS SEEKING $18 MILLION PER SEASON. THE MARKETPLACE FOR HIGH-CALIBER DEFENSIVE TACKLES HAS SOARED THE LAST TWO YEARS, AND JONES IS A GOOD PLAYER. THE DENVER BRONCOS REMAIN IN TALKS WITH HIM, BUT IT WOULD BE SURPRISING IF HE DOESN’T TEST THE MARKET. THE BEARS WERE GOING TO PAY (OVERPAY) LARRY OGUNJOBI $13.5 MILLION PER SEASON TO BE THE THREE-TECHNIQUE LAST YEAR BEFORE MEDICAL CONCERNS KIBOSHED THE DEAL. SO GIVEN THEIR INTENSE NEED AND THE LACK OF OPTIONS AFTER THE WASHINGTON COMMANDERS PLACED THE FRANCHISE TAG ON DARON PAYNE, IT STANDS TO REASON THEY MIGHT OVERPAY JONES.”

This is always the thing about trying to build your team through free agency. You gotta overpay guys just to get them to come, and then if you're (un)lucky enough to find one of the ones that is just happy get got a payday, you're screwed. It sounds like Poles knows that free agency is best used to fill the roster with capable guys then build your team through the draft.

I'd draft him but not until like the fifth. Hopefully by next year he's ready to take over for Whitehair.

No way I draft Vorhees in the 2nd coming off an ACL tear in march.
I give serious thought to it unless there's info that he might slip to the 3rd and then i take him with our top pick in the 3rd. Next year is still going to be a team in a rebuild.

I don't know where he's projected to go cause now i'm seeing some say the 3rd or later but wherever that is i'd give thought to drafting him there.
