Terron Armstead was thirty-one when he signed that deal and coming off injury the year before. Also these figures grow massively with the swelling cap, and the lack of other options in free agency means these tackles are going to get lavished.
Conklin was about the same age though, 15m a year. Conklin > McGlinchey.

5-10 900 yard 100 rececption RB's?
Are you a complete fucking idiot?

There was exactly 1 other RB with 70+ receptions CMC, Eckler had 107, and 2 with more offensive yards from scrimmage, CMC and Barkley(13 more yards).
Over the next four years I will be surprised if they aren't five runningbacks from this class who outperform Austin Ekeler. You can put yourself in league with all these other NFL morons paying players for past performance at positions where guys can find themselves out of the leauge in less than a year.

I’m glad the Bears are being patient and not spending bad money. It’s so nice to have a good GM finally.

The Broncos have no choice but to try and make it work with Russell Wilson. This is the best way to maximize the odds of a turnaround. I absolutely see the logic behind it and with Sean Payton it could very easily work. The division they are in does not look nearly as scary as it did a year ago. The Raiders are tragic and the Chargers have the wrong coach. The Chiefs could even suffer a Super Bowl hangover as they rework their defensive line.

They have to spend money this year though so why not secure a guy they really need for an extra few million?

They have the money

People can scoff at the McClinchey deal. And while I agree, it's kinda the way FA is by nature, Sean Payton knows how to put an offensive line together. There are very few to do it better over the long haul. Jerry Jones, Ozzy Newsome and the Shanahan's are the only others that even belong in that conversation.

McGlinchy isnt that good and oft injured.

Well this is how I feel about Orlando Brown Jr. so hold your horses. If they wind up signing Kaleb McGary or Jawaan Taylor for only slightly less than Mike McGlinchey I think it will be very fair to question what the thought process was. And if they fail to sign any of them then we have a major problem.

That's a really sad group for all the cap space the Bears have. And I really like Isaac Seumalo.
Who do you want that's currently/expected to be out there? Or are you waiting for cuts later on?
