It’s not just throwing money at them and bam. Some want to play with other teams for reasons. That’s out of our control. They have to spend money this year though so why not secure a guy they really need for an extra few million?
They have the money
Is that really “crazy” money? $17/APY is less than I thought he would get…good lord
Andre Dillard is a perfect player to bring in to compete with Braxton Jones. The cost will be reasonable, the upside is pretty intriguing and if it doesn't work out who ever cares.I want Poles to go after Dillard or @BaBaBlacksheep ’s guy, Trey Pipkins
Jimmy g just keeps on winning
I realize people didn’t want mcglinchey but he’d be a huge upgrade to borom.
Bears need to spend the money and are missing out on some top prospects. Hopefully they can still get a DL or a few OL that aren’t just minor upgrades.
You may very well be right. Interior OL has a lot of good options. Not sure on T, but as you say, he may feel he can identify one later.Poles will probably just sign a swing tackle and draft OL. He seems extremely confident on grooming OL.
I hope they do just so you shut the **** up. Brown getting 36m/yr? lmaoJust so you guys know Orlando Brown Jr. turned down a six year deal worth a hundred and forty million last summer. Mike McGlinchey might cost half as much as Brown Jr. when this is over. This is not an unreasonable deal and while I understand the Bears not matching it, they better not be giving that same sum to a guy like Jawaan Taylor or Kaleb McGary.
