I'm not even saying he's a better overall player, but he did have a better year. DJ Moore has serious weaknesses as a wide reciever that people just do not want to talk about while they hype him up to be "our" Stefon Diggs or Justin Jefferson.
That's OK to say DJ Moore isn't a top elite WR in the game. But it's pretty dumbfounding to vaguely suggest Meyers is better.

Seriously, at what point do the Jets realize this is a train wreck waiting to happen?
They are instantly Super Bowl favorites in the AFC with him. Their roster is stacked. They are a healthy Meckhi Beckton (to be fair, not a particularly likely outcome) away from being stacked on both fronts, they have great weapons, playmakers in the secondary and draft picks to add luxury items. Add Aaron Rodgers? Yeah there is a disaster potential there but if they get one last great season out of him they are favorites in every game they play.

Kansas City is still dangerous but they are having to rebuild and retool their lines, plus the extra games it takes to win a Super Bowl and longer season they endure does have a hangover effect. They've been pretty oustanding about avoiding this, though.

I know he takes a bunch of shit around here, but this article has some good insight into yesterday and what to expect going forward.

It's not his evaluations that people bag on. It's his inability to communicate like an actual human being.

The Bears offensive and defensive lines are legitimately bottom five in the league. The defensive line has less talent than some college programs. Everyone saying "b-b-but wait for the draft" lmao this general manager is like seventy IQ tops. You are going to get runningbacks, wide receivers and maybe a cornerback if you're lucky. I honestly wouldn't rule out off-ball linebacker in the second.

If you still are a believer in Ryan Poles after this you're a dumb person.
So how many wins this year do we have to get to prove you wrong? We had three last year. Six? Nine? I really like all of the moves they have made since taking over. I like Warren/Poles/Flus. They have a plan and are executing it. Great signings yesterday. They shored up the middle on DEF so we won't have WR picking us apart all day. We have a nice DE signing and a good LG. They are not going to sign old, overpriced guys that do not fit our scheme. They will make more OL/DL moves, trust me. Our OL is already improved. If they can get a RT/LT (depending on where they put Jones) this OL will be much better. DL obviously still needs some work. They may have their eye on a 3TDT in the draft. I think they also go heavy DL/OL with those late 2nd/early 3rd. Be patient.

Nobody is saying he is Justin Jefferson

What happens if Carter drops to nine?
Who cares who drops to 9. Gets the best available OL or DL. Whichever ranks highest. And keep going. We ain’t fixing this whole team in one draft. We will have to wait until next year and probably another year to get the team to a decent quality playing team. That’s if draft picks pan out.

Lol okay. So we can expect a decent team by year 4? Is this the Ryan Pace timeline?

Man.. seeing Meyers go to Raiders and Lazard to Jets.. I'm so glad the Bears didn't have to scrape the barrel for this FA WR class. Starting to think this was the best trade (of our #1) for us.
